Barron Bonney

The founder of Indigo Mining Services, Barron now focuses on business development and mentoring. Community-minded and client- focused, he has a reputation for excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Barron has worked in the mining and resources industry throughout the Goldfields region over many years. He has also provided extensive training in cultural awareness, professional services and corporate governance, in addition to a range of community services roles. In 2016, Barron was awarded the Support Worker of the Year in Western Australia. Barron is a Ministerial appointment to the Goldfields Aboriginal Workforce Development Centre since 2014, serving on the Board in a voluntary advisory capacity. He is also a serving Board Member of the Bega Garnbirringu Health Services in the Goldfields since 2012.

Jim Thomson

Jim Thomson, as principal of Outback Energy Supply (OES), has been providing a range of electrical solutions in a diverse range of resource and rural industries for over 30 years. Since 1999, Jim has been applying his electrical background to the renewable energy field. Jim Thomson has supported nearly 20 apprentices through to trades completion, has employed trainees and supported immigrants into Australia via direct sponsorship and mentoring through their employment. The OES workforce has consisted of people from all walks of life, gender and cultural identity.
