Rick Wheat

The Founder and Managing Member of the firm is Rick Wheat, a 2nd generation Investor who was literally raised in the real estate and construction business. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Tennessee, and a Bachelor of Technology from the University of North Florida, majoring in Construction Technology and minoring in Real Estate. Mr. Wheat has also held licenses in Florida as a: Certified Building Contractor Certified General Contractor Real Estate Broker Mortgage Broker Over the course of his career, Rick has managed the construction of over 200 single family homes, with values ranging into the millions of dollars. He has also completed numerous commercial and remodeling projects, including but not limited to Retail Shops, Restaurants, Dental and Medical Facilities, Office Buildings, Warehouses, as well as several Mixed-Use and Residential developments. His activities as a Real Estate Broker/Associate encompassed Marketing, Sales, Leasing and Property Management. As a Mortgage Broker, he primarily specialized on Private Lender funding, originating numerous Investor loans. His knowledge of all areas of those businesses greatly enhances the firm's ability to resolve the many issues which may arise when dealing with problem properties. Rick is also a highly sought-after seminar and workshop instructor, with a career spanning two decades. He has made presentations to tens of thousands of attendees throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean on a myriad of real estate, finance and marketing topics. He has also been an adjunct professor at the University of North Florida.

Ryan Tower

Ryan Tower was born in Flint, Michigan, and is a Michigan State University Business School graduate. Mr. Tower brings many years of expertise in both Management and real estate investment to the 810 Team dynamic. He began his professional career in 1995 while attending Michigan State University, where he majored in general business administration along with a double minor in finance and English. During that time, he also took an Assistant Manager position with a nationally-recognized franchise, quickly moving up the ranks to later become a District Manager. After graduation, Ryan became a full-time real estate investor in mid-2007, forming his own successful real estate investment company. His uncanny ability to develop relationships steered him toward luxury home short sales as well as bank-owned real estate, where he purchased and sold over 100 single family residential REO and short sale properties over the span of two years. In early 2009, Ryan expanded his emphasis into commercial real estate, and shortly thereafter was recruited as a Project Manager by Pinnacle Commercial Group. During his brief time at that position, Ryan evaluated and underwrote over 500 of Pinnacle's acquisition prospects and was able to diversify himself into several crucial roles including acquisitions management, project sales, marketing, broker relations, buyer/investor relations, technological development and innovation, website design and others. In early 2010, he moved into the role of Director of Corporate Dispositions where he was responsible for the ongoing sales and marketing process for the firm. In 2011, Ryan founded Genesis Commercial Investments, a consulting company where he managed the successful negotiation and acquisition of over 25 Commercial assets.
