Coolways was founded in 1994 under the leadership of Mr. Inderjit Singh, a Mechanical Engineer with over 50 years of experience. The company began by manufacturing and selling room air conditioners and soon became the sole distributor and installer of Subros Car ACs (OEMs for Maruti) in North India. Over the years, Coolways expanded its operations and is now one of the largest installers and service providers of bus air conditioning systems in the country. In 2001, the company entered the commercial air conditioning sector in partnership with Carrier Air Conditioning Systems.
