Brenda Peters

Brenda is your first point of contact when you enter or call the office at PWM Private Wealth Counsel. She will greet you with a smile, whether it is on the phone or in person. Brenda will assist with all inquiries and looks forward to connecting with our clients and directing you to whomever you are looking for. Brenda has been with PWM Private Wealth Counsel since Aug 2023, before that she was an Administrative Assistant at the Saskatoon Open Door Society for 11 years. Brenda received her Master of Arts degree in Student Development from Providence Theological Seminary in Manitoba and served as a Resident Director at Providence College for 10 years prior to moving back to Saskatoon. Brenda is passionate about all things photography and enjoys meandering Saskatoon's Meewasin trails and capturing the beauty of the city in all seasons. She loves a good laugh and spending quality time with friends and family. She's always up for going on an adventure, planned or spontaneous, big, or small.

Brian Rugg

Brian joined the team in 2023 and has spent most of his professional career working in the agriculture industry directly with grain and cattle farmers. He completed his Bachelor's degree in the Science of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan in 1997, and obtained the designation of Professional Agrologist in 2006. For over 20 years Brian has successfully balanced his roles in farming to include accounting, where he has provided accounting services to a diverse range of small and medium-sized businesses. His commitment to continuous learning and excellence led him to achieve the Certified General Accountant of Saskatchewan (CGA) designation. To build on his knowledge and expertise in tax, Brian completed the Chartered Professional Accountants' In-Depth Tax Course in 2017. Recently, he began expanding his services to provide more comprehensive financial management and strategic planning for small businesses. Brian is a Councilor in the RM of Colonsay, Saskatchewan. He plays an active role in local governance, striving to make a positive impact in the community. Brian also enjoys traveling, being active outdoors and attending sporting events, both as a participant and as a proud supporter of his children's athletic pursuits. *Services provided through Brian Rugg, CPA Prof Corp.

Dana Mann - CCO

Dana focusses on operations, event planning, and strategic business planning as well as sponsorships and major charitable gifting initiatives. Her passion lies in providing a remarkable client experience and in promoting an environment for our team where they benefit from superior education, mentoring and advancement opportunities. Continuously striving to be ahead of the curve in the financial industry she is tremendously proud of the industry recognition and awards that the PWM team has received. With over 20 years with the business, Dana has had the opportunity to work in many areas of the organization and has appreciated seeing the progression of the team and their level of expertise expand over the years. Dana is a super proud mom to two busy teenagers, and wife to Kevin Hegedus. She enjoys finding new places to travel on family adventures and spending time at their cottage. In her downtime, Dana enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Kevin Lasiuk

Kevin is a University of Saskatchewan graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and Human Resource Management. He has over 20 years' experience in marketing & business development and is responsible for all our marketing initiatives. With a keen interest in the financial industry, Kevin will be responsible for the strategic execution of our marketing plan including all digital and print advertising, website management, social media campaigns, seminars, client events, and managing our Money Sense radio program on News Talk 650 CKOM, which has been running for 20 years. Kevin will also be your first point of contact as he oversees all investor inquiries. In his spare time, he enjoys playing hockey, slow-pitch, fishing, hunting, and spending time at the cabin with his family. He also enjoys giving back to the community through his volunteer efforts at the Saskatoon Food Book Bank Garden Patch.

Lindsay Lyman

Lindsay's role is to assist the advisory team with meeting preparations, client inquiries, and scheduling, primarily working with Kevin Hegedus. She assists with all inquiries related to your account, including account openings, account transfers, and estate settlements, and takes pride in getting things done in an accurate and efficient manner. Lindsay brings 12 years of experience in the financial industry, joining an investment firm as an insurance agent in 2011. She found her niche in the administrative side of the business, and made the move to PWM Private Wealth Counsel in 2021. When she's not busy running her kids around, Lindsay is currently taking a refresher course in French and German, and plans to learn another language.

Pat Clarkson

In preparation for your retirement, PWM would like to introduce you to Pat Clarkson. After her own personal retirement experience and the shared experience of others, it became apparent that the human side of retirement is not often considered or even understood. The psychological issues, the emotional, mental, and social aspects of retirement, that occur when you move from a work/life structure to a retirement/life structure. In pre-retirement, the roles in our life provide our life's structure. In post-retirement, the ceasing of work leaves us with little structure. The little-known secret about retirement is you create your retirement structure.

Richard Lizee

Richard is our in-house bookkeeper and completes the Tax & Accounting team. Richard maintains complete sets of books, keeps records of account, verifies the procedures for recording financial transactions and provides professional bookkeeping services to our clients. He strives in the accuracy of his work and building strong relationships with his clients. Richard joined PWM Private Wealth Counsel, in 2013 after a career of 28 years with the Canada Revenue Agency as a border officer where he learned to fine tune his accuracy and people skills. He has attained over 35 years in client servicing and still enjoys assisting people. Richard graduated from College Mathieu in Gravelbourg and was certified as a bookkeeper in 2006 from the Stratford Career Institute. He has attained the Pro-Advisor status within the QuickBooks bookkeeping system since starting with PWM. Richard was born and raised in Gravelbourg, SK, but presently lives in Saskatoon with his wife, Jacinte, and their dog, Comet. Richard and Jacinte are the parents of 3 sons and grandparents of 6 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family, camping and tries to get some fishing time during the summer.
