Connie obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1994. Prior to joining RBC in 2012, Connie practised law for 18 years. As a partner in a mid-sized full-service law firm, her practice was varied and covered the areas of corporate/commercial law, real estate, and Wills, trusts and estates law. In that role, Connie advised her owner-manager clients on a broad range of business and personal needs, from purchases and sales of businesses, to shareholder agreements and corporate reorganizations, to Will and estate planning. For many years Connie taught the Business Law section of the Bar Admissions Course and was involved with preparing the licensing exams for Ontario lawyers. Throughout her career, Connie has been involved in her broader community, serving on many non-profit boards as well as providing pro bono legal services.

Mark has been an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities since 1990. After completing his MBA in 1985, he went on to a career in financial services with one of Canada's major banks. Mark is registered with IIROC as a Portfolio Manager, a designation that enables him to manage portfolios on a discretionary basis. Mark is a Certified International Wealth Manager (CIWM) with the Canadian Securities Institute, providing an additional source of wealth management expertise in planning and implementing comprehensive financial strategies for clients. He prides himself on being the filter between his clients and the complexities of the financial world, providing clear information and expert advice that drives their financial well-being.

Murray Shapiro

Murray has been providing advice and technical support in relation to high- net-worth family wealth planning since 1994. Conversations include scenarios to be aware of in transitioning, including the costs of transitioning, your assets to your intended heirs. Additional areas of concern may include tax, asset preservation and philanthropic planning. Murray's expertise encompasses both domestic and international family circumstances, and in many cases is focused on the challenges of transitioning a family business. His guidance supports clients in their relationships with their external professional advisors, with whom he frequently interacts. Before joining RBC's Canadian Family Office Services team in 2008, Murray worked with RBC's Global Private Banking group as the senior resource in their global trust business for over 13 years. Murray was a Director of STEP Canada (Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners) from its inception until 2009, and has been a member of the International Tax Planning Association and the Canadian Tax Foundation over the years. He has been a featured speaker at Estate Planning Councils, Law Society and STEP practitioner education conferences in Canada and abroad.

As an Investment Advisor with RBC Dominion Securities, Paul Tselichtchev takes a personal approach to wealth planning, working closely with clients to understand their unique needs and goals in order to deliver customized, financial solutions. Having joined the financial industry in 2022, Paul previously worked as a Banking Advisor with RBC and continues to nurture his passion for investing and discovering new methods of growing and protecting wealth. Prior to joining RBC, Paul spent his free time on stock markets and learning various topics related to finance. Today, he enjoys educating others about investment vehicles and strategies that will help them achieve their goals. His fast turn-around, knowledgeable advice and genuine level of care are appreciated by his clients. Paul obtained both a bachelor's and master's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, and he has completed with industry-specific training, having completed the Canadian Securities Course, Wealth Management Essentials and the Life Insurance Qualification Program (LLQP). During his time as a tax and financial practitioner with several professional service firms, Steven specialized in Canadian, U.S. and cross-border personal income taxation, and provided planning and preparation services to clients. He also has professional experience with the RBC Tax Advisory Group and RBC Dexia, where he provided tax advice to various business units within RBC. As an experienced practitioner in financial matters, Steven has written or contributed to many research articles, industry publications, training materials and client presentations. Steven's role as a Financial Planning Specialist is to work with, and support, your advisor in preparing and presenting comprehensive financial planning solutions.
