GREEN APPLE DENTISTRY - Key Persons

Dr. Maria Colaiacovo completed her Bachelor of Science at Queen's University. She continued her studies at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, where she graduated with Honours and was especially recognized for her achievements in both restorative and preventive dentistry. Dr. Colaiacovo has furthered her knowledge and skills in various aspects of dental medicine by completing a hospital dental residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. It is here that she gained invaluable experience in treating medically compromised and special needs patients. During her tenure as a dental resident, she developed skills in managing severe dental infections, oral-surgical procedures and dental trauma. Dr. Colaiacovo continues to maintain her hospital privileges as a part-time dentist at Mount Sinai hospital and is currently the Co-Director of the Hospital Dental Residency Program. She teaches and lectures students at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto and participates regularly in several continuing dental education courses. She is married with three children. She is a proud hockey and dance mom. She enjoys her workouts at the gym and playing volleyball. She looks forward to making your dental experience both comfortable and fulfilling.
