Jeffrey Cleveland

Jeffrey Cleveland is an adjunct faculty member at the Colorado School of Mines, where he teaches the graduate-level Economics of Space Resources course, along with being a Ph.D. candidate in Space Resources Economic Policy. In the burgeoning field of space economics, his research and writing interests lie in developing macro- and microeconomic policies for cislunar space, and defining long-term economic development policies for a solar system-wide economy. Mr. Cleveland received his MA in Economics from the University of Detroit Mercy, and has two degrees from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Business Administration.

Joshua Waters

Joshua was born Oklahoma City where the night sky ignited his imagination and passion for the cosmos. His journey into the world of space and entrepreneurship began at the University of Kansas, where he pursued his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance along with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. During his undergraduate years, he displayed a unique blend of financial acumen and visionary thinking, setting the stage for his future endeavors. After completing his undergraduate studies in 2018, Joshua's fervor for space exploration intensified. Determined to make a meaningful impact, he pursued a Master of Science in Space Resources from the Colorado School of Mines, graduating in 2022. This allowed him to gain a profound understanding of space resources, from rocket technology all the way to asteroid mining. With his newly acquired knowledge and boundless ambition, Joshua founded insistent Galactic Operationz (iGO), a space resource startup on the cutting edge of space exploration. Under his leadership as the Chief Dreamer, iGO set forth on a mission to help unlock the limitless potential of space resources. Joshua and his team have since embarked on the journey of building reusable rockets, a pivotal first step in their grand plan to help harvest and cultivate space resources for the benefit of all of humanity. His vision extends beyond Earth's confines, envisioning a future where humanity both survives and thrives among the stars, propelled by the wealth of resources waiting to be harvested and cultivated at their destinations. Joshua embodies the spirit of a space entrepreneur who dares to dream beyond the sky. Recognizing that in space, the sky isn't the limit - it's just the beginning. Prof. Mark J. Sundahl

Prof. Mark J. Sundahl is a Professor of Law and the Director of the Global Space Law Center at Cleveland State University. Prof. Sundahl is an expert on the law of outer space and focuses primarily on the business, legal, and policy issues arising from the increase in private space activity. He has served on the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) which advises the Federal Aviation Administration regarding new regulations governing private space activity and has served as a member and advisor to the U.S. delegation to the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space. He most recently served as a member of NASA's Regulatory and Policy Committee which is charged with advising the NASA Advisory Committee on regulatory reform. In addition to his academic work, Prof. Sundahl is the principal of ASTRALEX LLC, a space law and policy consultancy.
