JACKIE NITSCHKE CENTER

The Jackie Nitschke Center is the only adult residential treatment center for substance addiction in Brown County and one of only a few in the state that treat co-occurring mental health disorders... The Jackie Nitschke Center traces its roots to March 1971 when a group of volunteers met to discuss starting a halfway house for alcoholics. In June 1973, The Samaritan House was opened fostering a sober, structured living environment for men following treatment.
