The Impact Facility is a global sustainability organisation that seeks to bring economic and environmental empowerment to artisanal and small-scale mining communities... Initially set up by TDI Sustainability and Fairphone, The Impact Facility takes a different approach - an inclusive business-led approach. We recruit donor finance and investment capital to fund well-researched and well-organised projects that are designed to improve mine productivity across the board. This, we believe, is the gateway to better working conditions and improved health and safety outcomes, both of which empower mining communities to break the cycle of poverty for good.
