Chantal joined ZSA in 2016 as Recruitment Coordinator and more recently was promoted to a Recruitment Coordinator and Office Manager in the Montreal office. Chantal was called to the Quebec Bar in 2006 and obtained her civil law degree from Université de Montréal. During her training, she articled clerk with numerous judges at the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. After her call to the Bar, Chantal worked as Legal Researcher at the Superior Court of Montreal. She subsequently practiced family law for several years.

Charline joined the ZSA team as a Legal Recruiter / Headhunter in the summer of 2019. Since May 2022, she works behind the scene and helps her teammates on punctual matters pertaining to events and human resources.
Cherice joined ZSA in June 2022 as a Recruitment Coordinator. She is responsible for providing administrative support directly to the CEO.

Dorothy joined ZSA in 2006 as a Receptionist and Recruitment Coordinator. Dorothy also assists in the facilitation and execution of ZSA's testimonial requests, candidate references and other general projects.
Erin joined ZSA as a Research Associate in 2022. Her responsibility is to support the recruitment team by sourcing candidates to fulfill ZSA's client needs.
With her free time, you can find Erin keeping busy with hockey, exploring new backcountry trails or searching the city for the next perfect record to add to her collection.
Haley joined ZSA as a Research Associate in 2021 and recently took on the role of HR & Recruitment Administrator. Her responsibility is to provide administrative support to the recruitment team.

Jonah joined ZSA in 2022 as a Research Associate. His responsibility is to support the recruitment team by sourcing candidates to fulfill ZSA's client needs.

Julien worked as a Research Associate for ZSA for two years before becoming a Recruiter / Headhunter. He focuses on recruiting legal professionals for Quebec law firms and businesses.
Mr. Fredeen was General Counsel and Secretary to the Board, Deloitte LLP from 2000 to 2020. In June 2020, he was appointed General Counsel Emeritus and Senior Partner, Indigenous and Accessibility, leading Deloitte's Reconciliation and Disability initiatives both within the firm and in the Canadian marketplace. In June 2021, he retired from the partnership. In September 2021, he was appointed as Managing Partner, ZSA In House and in that role, works to support and develop the role of General Counsel and their teams within Canada.
Mr. Fredeen is a leader in the legal profession. In 2012, he and his team were awarded the General Counsel Social Responsibility Award. In 2013, he was recognized as one of Canada's most influential lawyers and judges (Canadian Lawyer Magazine). In 2018, he was named Canada's Outstanding General Counsel and in 2021, he was recognized by the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association with the R.V.A. Jones Award which recognizes exceptional contributions to the development of the in-house counsel bar, and later in the same year he was recognized by the Canadian General Counsel Awards with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mr. Fredeen is a passionate and tireless leader supporting diversity and inclusion. Working with other Canadian General Counsel, Mr. Fredeen was a founding member of Legal Leaders for Diversity and Inclusion and has served as president. The LLD is playing a critical role in the creation of a more inclusive legal profession in Canada. Mr. Fredeen is the past Chair of the Deloitte Inclusion Council and former Executive Sponsor or the Deloitte LGBTQ and employees with disabilities networks.
Mr. Fredeen also served as Chair of the Boards for The Learning Partnership and the Ethics Centre.
Mr. Fredeen is married, with three children and pre COVID, volunteered as a coach for Special Olympics basketball.

Lana is a Partner with over 20 years of high-level headhunting and recruitment experience in the legal industry and first joined ZSA in 2000. Lana returned to ZSA in 2015 after spending 4 years focusing on international recruitment. Lana's wide range of recruitment expertise includes both retained search and selection for top national and international firms and in-house legal departments for lawyers, general counsel, partner and legal support roles. Known for both her strong candidate focus and her responsiveness to clients' unique needs, she has built a reputation as a knowledgeable, skilled and principled recruiter.

Marie-Helene joined ZSA in 2012 as a Consultant for Legal Services. She focused on the recruitment of legal professionals at law firms and in-house legal departments in Montreal. In 2017, Marie-Helene became Manager, Recruitment projects, and supervises the progress and timelines of mandates; prepares information to provide candidates; oversees research tasks; manages ad campaigns; and advises researchers and recruiters during the course of their work. She actively participates in the recruitment of senior lawyer positions, whether it be management or C-Suite positions at companies or partners at law firms, by overseeing the research and headhunting of candidates.
May Xie joined ZSA in 2007 as a Controller and responsible for overseeing ZSA's accounting and finance department.
May graduated from University of Birmingham (UK) with an MBA degree in 2001 and obtained her Bachelors of Accountancy from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. May also holds a license of Certified Public Accountant from Illinois, US. Before joining ZSA, May held the position of Senior Accountant at Hays Recruitment Canada. In her spare time, May enjoys listening to music and reading.

Orit Sinai is a Partner in ZSA's Toronto office. She manages all aspects of the executive legal search and headhunting process for various law firms and Canadian organizations. With over ten years of experience in talent management, along with her extensive knowledge of the legal staffing industry, Orit has the ability to gain an astute understanding of every client's unique strategic need.
Orit focuses on General Counsel, Legal Counsel, Compliance, Partner and Associate level hires across multiple industries. A natural counselor and connector, Orit acts as a co-partner for candidates and clients' alike: advising candidates on strategic opportunities that will enable them to further advance their goals; and providing customized advice to clients in line with their hiring needs and business objectives. Orit delivers unparalleled guidance and support to candidates at all stages of the process and a receptivity to client needs that ensures long term success in her placements.
Prior to joining ZSA in 2010, Orit gained valuable recruitment and headhunting experience in the Toronto office of a technology company, where she was responsible for overseeing strategy, talent and professional development. Prior to moving into her role as Recruitment Partner, Orit articled at a large bay street law firm and acted as Legal Counsel and HR Director for ZSA nationally.
Orit holds a Bachelors of Human Resources Management from York University and an LL.B. from the University of Windsor. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010.
While not working, Orit enjoys discovering new restaurants, travelling to exotic beach destinations, spin class and spending time with her husband, two children, close family and friends.

She has experience working as a bookkeeper for a large international company, and has also taught junior accounting and Excel courses at Victoria College (University of Toronto).
