CRI TECHNOLOGY IMPACT AWARD

Our immune system comprises a variety of cells, proteins, molecules, tissues, and organs all designed to protect us and keep us healthy. When it comes to fighting cancer, most of our treatment successes so far have come from learning how to unleash our immune system's T cells to fight tumors. But what about the other components of our immune system? Can they also be harnessed to fight cancer? Beyond T cells, CRI scientists are exploring the potential of other immune cells-macrophages, B cells, dendritic cells, and natural killer cells-in developing the next generation of cancer immunotherapies...
