I was born in Melbourne. Having an engineer father and a cabinet maker grandfather, I have always been interested in the structure of a building and high-quality craftsmanship. In 1990, I started my building career as an apprentice carpenter on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. I learned the trade on high-end architectural renovations and new builds. After completing my Diploma in Construction with distinction, I was eager to start my own business. I wanted to deliver homes of exceptional quality and standard as well as build strong relationships with my clients.

When I was still at school, I loved working with tools in woodwork, which is what got me excited about pursuing a career in the building industry. I enjoy working outdoors, and I treasure the vast range of skills that I have learnt so far. When I am not at work, I like to go to the gym or spend time at the beach.

Tyler Marks What I like most about being an apprentice carpenter is that every day I learn something new. I like being on the job site and working with the rest of the team to create great looking houses and renovations. When I'm not on the job I love surfing and living a great outdoor lifestyle.
