We are an independent voice run by naval journalists with contributors and supporters which include ex-forces personnel and academics. We have no direct links with the Ministry of Defence or formal endorsement by the Royal Navy, neither are we aligned to any political organisation... This site was originally established in 2007 as Save The Royal Navy and in January 2021 we re-branded as Navy Lookout with a simpler focus on Royal Navy news and analysis... Navy Lookout provides news and analysis of operations, procurement and the future of the Royal Navy for both the public and defence professionals.
