Alison Robb

Alison holds a Masters Degree in Human Resource Management and a Graduate certificate in Management. She has spent 20+ years working in the Oil and Gas industries in the UK and Australia. Alison started her career in Logistics with BP in Aberdeen, moving into Technical Sales positions with North Sea Cables and FMC before setting up her own business in 1998. She opened the "Citrus Room", a gourmet sandwich bar and catering company in Aberdeen and then sold this to join Solar Turbines in 2001, where she spent 5 years based in Aberdeen and a further 11 years in Melbourne, employed by Caterpillar, as Solar Turbines HR Manager for Australia, NZ and PNG. Alison has been providing strategic solutions to Management teams for many years. With her strong business acumen and exceptional organisational skills, she will facilitate business development for AJSS as it continues to expand and grow.

Anthony Ryan

Anthony started his career in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Drilling and Well Completions Engineer. After completing a bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering (1 st Hons) from Curtin University, he worked in the field both internationally and in Australia with secondments to Otto Energy, Woodside Energy and Vermillion Oil & Gas Australia. Anthony then transitioned into downstream operations where he was engaged as an onboard Production & Operations Engineer and Company Representative on the Northern Endeavour FPSO in the Timor Sea. Anthony has gained a vast experience in the management of wells, topside process systems, gas compression, gas injection, power generation, crude oil rundown and cargo offtake coordination and was responsible for developing strategies, procedures and solutions to increase production, reduce OPEX and improve plant reliability.

ARTHUR STACk - Managing Director

With almost 40 years of experience in the Marine, Oil and Gas and Power Generation industries, Arthur brings a mature mix of technical and business management skills, together with a strong network of industry contacts and exposure to global projects. In this time he has spent 26 years working for Solar Turbines Incorporated in various technical and commercial roles of increasing responsibility. His most recent role was Regional Service Manager for Solar Turbines Australia from 1st January 2008 to 31st May 2013. In this role he assumed the Sales and Operations responsibility for all of Solars' aftermarket business in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Region. While on assignment in San Diego, Arthur completed a Masters of Business Administration (Marketing Major) to compliment his Diploma in Professional Business. In addition to his business management qualifications Arthur spent 10 years as a multi-disciplined Gas Turbine Commissioning Engineer in both Oil & Gas Power and Generation markets.

BOB GRAF - CTO

Bob holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Stevens Institute of Technology and a MBA in Administration (International Finance) from the University of San Diego. He started his professional career in 1977 as a Development Test Engineer for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford, CT, working on FAA flight engine certification programs for the JT8D-209 and JT9D commercial jet engines and in 1980 joined Solar Turbines in San Diego, holding a variety of technical positions culminating the role of Principal Regional Field Engineer for Asia Pacific, based in Singapore. Bob was responsible for the field technical support of complete industrial gas turbine driven generator and compressor packages, and Balance of Plant, used in the oil and gas and power generation industries. Bob's technical specialties include programming of Logic Controllers, rotor vibration analysis, gas turbine package systems and controls, and gas turbine aerodynamic performance testing. He developed and executed equipment upgrade and retrofit controls products, creating the process control designs, performing the programming tasks, then installing and commissioning these products in the field. Bob also managed a group of 10 Field Service Representatives who were responsible for commissioning and repair of the gas turbine packages. Bob retired from Solar Turbines in March 2018 and joins the AJSS team based out of Singapore. In 2020 Bob was appointed Technical Director.

Bryan Edwards

Bryan Edwards is a licensed Professional Engineer in California, USA. He earned a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Diego State University in 1984. He has spent the majority of his nearly 40 year engineering career designing, testing and providing field service and customer support for rotating machinery devices and systems. He spent 30 years working at Solar Turbines and has provided engineering or technical support services for almost every Solar gas turbine engine product line. He served a three-year assignment for Solar as an in-house full time technical advisor for a major oil and gas company in support of a large fleet of offshore turbomachinery systems. Bryan joined AJ Stack Solutions in 2016-2017 before returning to Solar Turbines as a contract consultant engineer from 2017 to 2022. He has returned to become a part of the Stacked Learning team and looks forward to leveraging his many years of rotating machinery experience in support of innovative and engaging technical training solutions.

Craig Boston

Craig began his career with Schlumberger in 1998 as an apprentice diesel mechanic at Santos' Moomba oil and gas fields until the completion of his apprenticeship, Craig's time with Schlumberger then extended internationally, providing exposure to both on and offshore environments. Craig's introduction to Power Generation came in 2004 when he joined Wood Group Heavy Industrial Turbines as a Field Engineer before moving into commissioning and Power Station start ups within the Oil & Gas industry working on the Santos GLNG and Chevron's Wheatstone prefects. Craig specialises in GE frame units and reciprocating power generation and has managed multi-national teams, in some of the world's most hostile, remote locations. Isolated work environments have enabled Craig to learn the intricacies of machinery and problem solve some of the most complex issues.

Damien Ford

In 2017 Damien joined AJSS as an offshore EEHA supervisor in the Timor Sea. Since joining AJSS, Damien has provided leadership to the AJSS EEHA team for all projects and today manages a team of EEHA specialists across Australasia. Damien began his career as a qualified electrician in 1992 entering the O&G industry in 2003 starting with DLNG construction swiftly moving to commissioning and inspection arena. 2007 saw the beginning of his offshore industry career with Rig Inspection Services (RIS) where invaluable experience was gained within operations, maintenance and service of E&I equipment onboard jack-ups, Semi Subs, FPSO's internationally, producing independent facility condition reports for owners and potential lease clients alike. Additional activities included Chief electrician duties, Senior maintenance electrician and EEHA campaign coordinator. From 2012 to present Damien has focused on EEHA E&I inspection campaigns, most recently involved with the QA/QC teams involved with delivering the ground-breaking Gorgon modules, Prelude FLNG, and Inpex CPF projects based in South Korean shipyards. Since returning to Australia E&I commissioning coordinator on the SCM17 project for BHP at Roxby Downs and Lead EEHA inspector on 2 FPSO's located in the North west shelf (NWS).

Dane Lui

Dane Lui is an interactive developer dedicated in mixed reality (AR/VR) and UI/UX based in Melbourne, Australia. Graduated from RMIT University [Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) & Master of Animation, Games and Interactivity], he has over 4 years of professional experience in UI/UX design. With a strong foundation in graphic design and a passion for web development, he has expanded his skillset in infographic design, generative art, motion graphics and frontend design and development, which he hopes to build and employ with the Stacked Learning team. Dane has also been engaging in versatile exploits, such as multi-disciplinary production: Adobe RMIT UX Awards 2020 (Overall Winner) - "YWaste"; Dean's Awards 2022 of RMIT University (Special Mention) - "Vinyl Rhapsody", "Particle Rhapsody" and the design & developer role of the Expo website. He utilises his proficiency of a wide range of industry-standard tools and catalyses creativity by unleashing insights from various professional perspectives.

Daniel Abbott

David Coghill

David has extensive industry experience primarily in oil and gas power and control systems, project management and Electrical and Automation Engineering both onshore and offshore, particularly LNG, including design, construction and commissioning of rotating machinery including Solar, GE Frame and LM series machines for power generation and gas compression. He has worldwide experience with major O&G companies such as ExxonMobil, Conoco, Qatar Energy, Inpex, and Chevron, including HAZOP, Alarm management, LOPA and SIL studies, 3D Model Review, EEHA, Commissioning Procedures, Compliance assessments and procedures, and Industrial Control Systems Cyber Security Compliance.

Dr Alasdair Lee

Dr Alasdair Lee is a highly experienced learning and development professional who started his career as a teaching and research academic before moving on to a career working with some of the biggest global Mining and Oil and Gas companies in training and organisational development. Alasdair believes that everyone can be a lifelong learner and make great achievements given the right motivation and the availability of the best teaching and learning material available. He has dedicated his career to developing knowledge in e-learning, classroom teaching and research in all aspects of learning and development and forged a successful career in industry breaking new ground in teaching and learning in an operational context. Alasdair holds a PhD in Chemistry, teaching qualifications in tertiary and adult education as well as industry recognised vocational training qualifications from the University of Cambridge, Murdoch University and Scope training. Dwain Lindon

With a strong focus on providing technical solutions Dwain's background is in Electrical / Instrumentation / Commissioning. He currently holds Electrical licences in WA and QLD. Over the past 20 year's Dwain has been involved in the execution of over 16 projects across Australasia. During that time, he has held supervisory positions with companies such as Chevron, BHP, Rio Tinto, Monadelphous, Incitec Pivot and Turbines Australasian Maintenance. Dwain joined the AJSS Gas Turbine and Controls team in 2018 and currently he is based on rotation with Northern Oil and Gas on the Norther Endeavour where his responsibilities include leading all the Mechanical, Electrical, Maintenance tasks on 6 Solar Mars Gas Turbines.

Eric Konie

Eric Konie is a qualified and very experienced electrician with more than 13 years of work experience in both domestic and Industrial environments. Eric has worked on a number of Solar Turbines in the area of troubleshooting, repair work and engine change outs. He has knowledge and experience in turbines instrumentation associated with auxiliary controls, DC circuits and equipment. Eric is well versed in troubleshooting and maintenance of turbine and other rotating equipment. Eric's vast experience and good organizational and communication skills make him an excellent choice for team leader position.

Gavin Sinclair

Gavin started his career as an apprentice aircraft mechanic with QANTAS engineering in 2004. On completion he accepted a position in the Auxillary Power Unit Overhaul Department. Moving on to Solar Turbines in 2008, Gavin spent the next 5 years working as an overhaul technician in the Melbourne workshop. Here he gained invaluable overhaul experience on wide range of Solar compressor and turbine products. During his later years in the workshop Gavin carried out numerous field support assignments. These included assisting and leading in turbine and compressor exchanges, in field compressor overhauls and specializing in Dry Gas Seal replacement. After transitioning into field service with Solar Turbines in 2014, Gavin expanded his knowledge and skills to include the many aspects of turbine servicing, focusing on the mechanical aspects. With his good customer interaction and expertise in gas compressor overhaul, Gavin developed strong relationships with many industry customers. Gavin will bring a valuable set of sound mechanical skills to the AJSS team.

James Stack

James is a marine engineer completing his degree at Australian Maritime College (University of Tasmania) and his cadetship with Teekay shipping Australia in 2017. After which he went on to work as an engineer officer on a variety of vessels including oil tankers, FSO's, bulk carriers, and offshore supply vessels. He has also been involved in sea trails and ship deliveries for the Royal Australian Navy as well as roles on Navy training and support vessels. James has been part of AJSS on a casual basis since 2014 working on various rotating equipment projects as part of the office support team and more predominantly in the field. In 2023 James took on a full-time role as rotating equipment engineer at AJSS.

Jim Smith

Jim started his career with the United Kingdom Atom Energy Authority and British Nuclear Fuels as an Instrument Apprentice, where he went on to be a shift supervisor. He studied at Widnes Technical College England and the Open University. Upon completion of his studies, he travelled extensively through the Middle East in the Oil and Gas industry (Bahrain, Yemen, Algeria, Libya and Oman) Whilst working in Oman he was recruited by ESI Solar Turbines as a commissioning Field Service Engineer, covering the whole of the Solar Fleet for the International Division and supporting the industrial gas turbine power generation and compressor packages. He took on the lead role in Commissioning and startups with Major International Solar customers, Chevron Venezuela, GUPCO Egypt, Occidental Oman, Petronas Malaysia, Maersk Denmark, and Gas Prom Luk Oil Russia. Jim left field service to take up duties as Senior Technical Trainer with the Solar Training department facilitating extensive training on all aspects of the Solar Fleet Gas turbine compressors and Power Generation Saturn through Titan250 packages. This included Hands on Training for Solar Employees and Solar Customers. Jim has extensive knowledge of maintenance, systems and Logic Controllers, and solar RSlogixs 5000. Jim's Career extended to 25 years for Solar/ Cat until he retired in 2001.Since his retirement Jim has continued to support OEM's and Independent training organizations with the design, creation and delivery of Technical training.

John Dewar

John is a degree qualified mechanical engineer with 40 years' professional experience within the compressed air and gas industries. The majority of this experience has been in the design and manufacture of both standard compressed air packages for general applications, and also specialised engineered packages specific to the Oil and Gas, Mining, Power Generation, Food, and Chemical industries, for both local and overseas clients. John has led multi discipline projects being directly involved in mechanical and electrical design of compressors and associated equipment, control systems, local and international onshore and offshore commissioning, and also R&D of new technologies for the compressed air industry. This included compliance with Australian Standards and Regulations particularly local and overseas electrical and pressure vessel regulations as applicable to manufacturing and use of the compressed air and gas equipment. Johns various roles included Engineering Manager leading teams of specialist engineers, Manufacturing Manager at Australia's largest compressor assembly facility and most recently a Superintendent role carrying the responsibility of the installation of a natural gas virtual pipeline in the Pilbara (WA). John has also led formal investigations into various catastrophic failure events relating to compressed air packages and their ancillary equipment for various mine sites in WA. Possessing strong commercial acumen John has also had operational and financial delegation responsibilities associated with running an organisation, including the full project management responsibility for the multimillion dollar design, refit and relocation of an Australian Manufacturing plant. Rounding out John's list of specialist engineering and management skills is a background in Continuous Improvement and Business Process Innovation - leveraging off such principles as LEAN, ACE and Kaizen.

John van Weel

John van Weel joins AJSS with almost four decades of experience in the energy industry. Starting his career as an Engineer in the water industry, John has held senior and executive positions with some of Australia's leading utility businesses including United Energy, Alinta and Jemena. With a commitment to operational excellence and compliance, driven by a focus on health and safety, John is experienced in the technical and engineering, operations and maintenance and general management of gas transmission pipelines and gas, electricity and water distribution networks. John spent the last 10 years of his career as an Executive General Manager for Jemena with responsibility for the field workforce, network and pipeline operations, procurement and property management, provision of customer services and ensuring organisational transformations were effectively delivered. Believing in the provision of high quality training outcomes for employees, John is also proud to have facilitated a recognised apprenticeship in gas operations and to have contributed to the development of the Australian Pipelines and Gas Association (APGA) Competency Framework for Pipeline Engineers which is now receiving international recognition. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) from Monash University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Deakin University.

Justin Roth

Kenny Tachimoto

Kenny Tachimoto Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer Kenichi holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University, along with a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Kenichi started his professional career with Solar Turbines and has over 11 years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Following a stint in San Diego as a Graduate Engineer, Kenichi moved to Perth as a Field Service Engineer performing duties such as servicing, engine changes, troubleshooting, controls retrofits and commissioning. He then relocated back to Melbourne taking up a Fleet Management role looking after a number of customers both technically and commercially. Kenichi's last role before joining AJSS was in customer services as Project Application Engineer dealing with uprates, controls retrofits, package system upgrades and obsolescence issues. Kenichi bring a wealth of Turbomachinery and engineering experience and knowledge to the team.

Lisa Nelson

Lisa has over 14 years experience working in the resources sector of both mining and oil and gas in Australia. After moving from Ireland in 2009 she started her career working in mining for BHP Billiton. Lisa worked FIFO on various mine sites in the Pilbara as Training Administrator and in 2012 started working full time back in Perth in BHPs Training Centre assisting with the induction and training coordination for onboarding new employees and contractors. In 2015 Lisa moved into the oil and gas sector working for Shell Australia setting up the Learning Management System for Shells Prelude FLNG. Lisa then went on to work as a Training and Travel Coordinator for Upstream Production Solutions and was seconded to Woodside Energy during the transition of ownership of The Northern Endeavour FPSO. During this time she gained extensive knowledge of both onshore and offshore travel and training requirements, safety and emergency response. During her career she has kept informed on all the latest industry news and legislation regarding training.

Luis Starke

Mark Stone

Mark completed his electrical qualification in NT in 1993 and at the age of 21 operated an electrical contracting business servicing mines, gaining experience in shut downs and routine maintenance. During this time he also gained experience and qualifications in construction working on sites in WA and throughout QLD. Mark built workshops and was involved in electrical installations for companies like Henry and Walker. Relocating to QLD he took on various construction roles as assistant manager, crew leader and foreman and was involved in the construction of the Brisbane Airport Car Park roof, walkway and escalators and worked on train stations, high rise buildings and supermarkets in and around Brisbane. Mark will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the AJSS team with both practical and leadership ability, working within the guide lines of OHS whilst working to a deadline. Mark is focused on gaining more experience and knowledge in the gas and oil industry.

Matt Rotstein

Matt is currently in his final year of Mechanical Engineering at RMIT and previously worked within Finance for 6 years. Matt has a strong foundation in business and finance and is looking to bring his skills to develop AJSS's opportunities while completing his qualifications as an Engineer. Matt has strong interests in developing sustainable, clean alternatives for power generation and is excited to be a leading member within AJSS to push for a clean future.

Michael Lihai

Michael Lihai has over 30 years of experience in heavy industrial electrical systems, process control, automation and instrumentation with a proven record of field experiences and management skills in both small and large projects in metallurgical plant, oil and gas processing, food processing plant, hydro power generation and steam generation plant. Michael is an excellent team leader and is arguably the best automation engineer in the country. He has had extensive work experience in Australia both as a team leader or member of a team. He has a very high level of experience in project design, configurations, programming, testing & commissioning and project management. Michael graduated from The Papua New Guinea University of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering.

Mido Ogail

Mido Ogail Rotating Equipment Engineer Mido graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 2018 with a thesis on "Fault Tree And Failure Mode & Effect Analysis For Industrial Gas Turbines". He later joined PETRONAS, initially as a Field Engineer for more than 2 years before becoming a Maintenance Scheduler. During those 4 years, Mido's experience focused on the operation and maintenance of FPSOs and fixed offshore platforms. Mido is well versed in the realm of contractor and stakeholder management, governance and compliance to HSE standards and regulations, production and commercial optimisation for Late Life Assets, and execution of major maintenance campaigns and field improvement projects.

Murray Wigg

Murray entered industry as a Process Instrument Technician with the State Electricity Commission of Western Australia at Kwinana Power Station in 1986, working on gas and steam turbines, along with boiler overhaul and maintenance. In the following years experience was gained in automotive engine R&D, then base metals processing and smelting, performing commissioning and process improvement roles. The result is a broad and extensive hands on experience in many areas including Instrumentation, Electrical, High Voltage, and Hazardous Area Electrical Installations. As a Field Service Representative (FSR) for 4 years with Solar Turbines, he received full factory training in the USA on the Solar range of products, specialising in commissioning, troubleshooting and servicing Solar's full product line, both centrifugal compressors and generators. After leaving Solar in 2006, Murray gained experience with GE products, co-ordinating the implementation of Woodside's Turbine Control System Upgrade project for the Karratha Gas Plant, entailing 35 machines. This led to 5 years of project management and systems administration of Completions & Commissioning Management Systems (CCMS) for major O&G projects. Murray has a total of 30 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Minerals and Processing industries, the last 12 years of which has been multi-disciplinary, but primarily Instrument and Electrical. Recent project achievements include off-shore Commissioning & Completions project close-outs, numerous projects customised to the client's needs, and Project Management. Murray has been a part of the AJSS Gas Turbine specialist team since 2015. During this time he has being involved in various Project Management, Technical Auditing and Field support roles.

Natalee Nahoom

After finishing her degree in Accounting & Finance, Natalee worked with Samsung Communications as a Junior Accountant and was promoted to Company Financial Controller after just 2 years. She worked in the Telco Industry for over 15 years before moving to a multi-national Agricultural company to Head up the Finance department for an Australian subsidiary. She has vast experience in the implementation of business plans, financial modelling growth and profitability strategies as well as the delivery of detailed financial accounting reports and compliance to the Australian accounting standards. Natalee is a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, committed to helping AJSS achieve future business growth actively helping the Management team become more effective and efficient in their business practices and control measures.

Neil Walters

Neil started his professional career as an Electrician with the West Australian Government Railways in 1980. Since then, he has worked in a diverse range of industries including Manufacturing, Service, Heavy Mining, Alumina, and Oil and Gas, specifically on rotating equipment and Gas Turbine Engines. As a Regional Field Engineer with Solar Turbines Australia, he specialised in commissioning, troubleshooting and servicing Solar's full product line, both centrifugal compressors and generators. During Neil's 10+ years with Solar, he spent considerable time in the USA working with the Performance Test Department, exposing him to the very complex field of turbine engine performance. After leaving Solar in 2006, Neil spent some time with the Victorian Energy Corporation - now AEMO where he worked with the Gas Sector as a Gas Systems Engineer. In 2007 Neil accepted an offer to take up a fly in-fly out position in Papua New Guinea as a Reliability Engineer with Oil Search PNG Ltd. This position utilised his skills with instrumentation and controls, as well as his extensive knowledge of Solar Turbines to service Oil Search's fleet of 20 plus Solar Turbines. It also utilised Neil's skills as a trainer and mentor for the PNG citizen workforce. In 2012 Neil joined Invensys Turbo-machinery Division as a Turbo-Machinery Controls (TMC) Consultant, based out of Clayton Victoria. Neil played a key role in developing, implementing and executing Invensys' turbine, compressor and generator upgrade projects. Specialising in turbines, rotating equipment and hazardous area electrical installations, Neil's experience covers everything from maintaining and troubleshooting high voltage systems to hydro-mechanical and everything in between.Neil has been working with AJSS since 2014 in various Project Management, Technical Auditing and Field Support roles. He is a TÜV certified safety instrumented systems engineer. He also has a Type B Gas fitting licence in Victoria, SA, WA and NT.

Paul Novacco

Paul holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Victoria University and has over 40 years of experience in the Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Marine industries. Paul provides a mature and diverse mix of technical expertise, specialising in rotating equipment. Working with both major oil companies and engineering contractors, he has a deep understanding of the objectives and solutions required to provide safe, specific, on-time and within client budget. Paul started in the Oil & Gas Industry as a Design Engineer before spending 10+ years in operations support, maintenance management and project engineering working for companies such as ExxonMobil, Santos and Woodside and he has managed teams responsible for maintaining major offshore rotating equipment, maximizing equipment availability during times of high oil production. Paul has provided expertise and advice to companies such as; Caltex, Shell, Jemena, TRUenergy, Petronas, PTT, Qenos, Woodside, BHP Billiton, QGC, CNOOC, Anzon for industry applications ranging from gas plants, refineries, offshore platforms and FPSO's through to pipeline compressor stations. While his main expertise is rotating equipment, Paul has a broad range of skills that covering disciplines such as process engineering, instrumentation, electrical, civil and structural, quality control, project management, computing, planning and cost control, as well as all phases of project delivery from concept development, studies, front end engineering design, detailed design, plant commissioning, equipment start-up, performance testing, troubleshooting operational problems, maintenance management and due diligence. Paul is a Chartered Professional Engineer and registered as a Mechanical Engineer on the Australian National Engineering Register, Professional Engineer of Queensland and a member of ASME.

PETER HOOTSEN

Peter holds a Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons) from Monash University and an Advance Diploma in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering from the Engineering Institute of Technology in Perth. Peter has 9+ years of experience working within the Gas Transmission Industry and began his career with Jemena in 2010 as a graduate Engineer. Peter then moved into the role of Rotating Equipment Engineer and later Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer as well as other various roles within Jemena. Peter's experience includes; condition and performance monitoring, operation and control room support, asset strategy development, project management, project support, maintenance strategy, maintenance scheduling, engineering assessments, asset management and on-call support. Peter is experienced with turbine engines, reciprocating engines, gas reciprocating and centrifugal compressors, fuel systems, compressed air systems, control systems and various static equipment. Peter is a Chartered Professional Engineer, Professional Engineer of Queensland and a Certified Practitioner of Asset Management.

Ray Taylor

Ray's engineering qualifications include a Diploma of Mechanical engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering. Ray's engineering career started at Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) where he worked in a variety of roles, including special engineering investigations such as attempting to isolate and rectify the source of engine vibrations and the preparation of modifications to allow instrumentation to be fitted to investigate compressor blade flutter. Ray also spent time working in the test cells where he was responsible for analysing and verifying engine test data. In 1976 CAC was seeking to expand it's role in the field of Industrial Gas Turbines and Ray was seconded to Rolls-Royce Industrial Division for six months, receiving intensive training in all aspects of industrial gas turbines and package design. In 1979 Ray joined Solar Turbines at a time when the company was seeking to consolidate it's position in the regional market by expanding the overhaul operation which at the time was sub-contracted to CAC. One of his first tasks was to commission the Saturn test skid thus providing the stepping stone to an expanded overhaul operation unique in the region. This was followed by expansion of overhaul capability to include boost compressors and the Centaur 40 product line. Ray was also involved in engineering support to the field operation including vibration analysis, borescope inspections and engineering investigations in support of condition monitoring programs. In 1996 Solar opened it's own overhaul facility and regional headquarters. Ray was closely involved in the planning of this facility and subsequently became manager of the overhaul facility, continuing in this role, as well as providing engineering support for field operations until 2009.

Sahaj Garg

Sahaj Garg holds a Master's Degree in Animation, Games and Interactivity from RMIT University and is also an enthusiast and experiments with future technologies such as Mixed/Virtual Reality, Blockchain, Ai - OpenCV/tracking, and more. Sahaj is also a creative Technologist, Researcher, and problem solver experimenting with immersive and interactive media and simulations. His works have been showcased in numerous events and in collaboration with the National Gallery of Victoria - Melbourne, ReAction Theatre, RMIT University, NFT ARTTECH Miami, Brisbane Curio-City, and more. He joins the AJSS software suite Stacked Learning development team in researching, managing and developing the next generation of digital content, educational simulations, and solutions.

Sapir Cohen

Stephen Muehlenberg

Stephen Muehlenberg Digital Content Developer Stephen is a veteran software developer with nearly 10 years experience across a variety of fields. These range from government emergency services, to healthcare, to infrastructure, to online video games. He holds Bachelors Degrees in Computer Science and Games and Interactivity. He graduated top of his class at Swinburne University. His passion is combining games, technology, and education to teach practical skills in new, exciting ways. Virtual reality, augmented reality, social media, game theory, and psychology are all tools he's studied and employed, and he's always on the lookout for new ways to engage with his audience.

Tom Chapman

Tom began his career with a Physics degree from London University followed by many years in R&D and product design in a wide range of engineering disciplines. After graduating from London University, Tom spent 2 years completing a Management Training Program with TI, a major British Engineering conglomerate. During that time he worked on researching dry gas seals and designed the key components for the stern tube seal of the Cunard Cruise Liner the QEII. Many years working with Cummins Engine Company in the UK and later in USA and Latin America provided a wide range of experiences in technical service, noise control and finance. In the following 23 years with Solar Turbines he ran Customer Service in Europe and N. Africa, Technical Services and Package Engineering based in San Diego and finally ended his time at Solar as MD of Solar Turbines Australia. Since retiring from Solar Tom has worked in a consulting role for Siemens, EDL and also privately. He is a specialist in vibration and condition monitoring and has a wealth of practical experience in systems troubleshooting.

After managing sales teams for most of his career, Wade started ‘Powered' Sales and Marketing envisaging an improved, more cost effective method for oil and gas service sector companies to bring their products and services to market.
