BEACON ECOLOGY is an independent consultancy company specialising in ecological assessments, surveys for protected species and conservation research. Our small team consists of highly experienced ecologists with a track record of delivering quality products in a timely manner. We are an efficient company and understand the need to deliver a cost effective service and not keep our clients waiting months for reports... BEACON ECOLOGY is based in central Derbyshire and we are ideally located for work in the Midlands and Peak District. We also undertake work further afield in the UK as well as having a great deal of international work experience. We can undertake a wide range of services, but core expertise are in relation to bird, mammal and amphibian surveys (including Great Crested Newts). As well as undertaking ecological surveys we also offer specialist expertise on how to survey difficult access sites, such as cliffs or industrial sites.
