Brendon Kisten has served as a member of the South African Police Service for 22 years. He has extensive experience in the field of policing and investigations, serving in both the Uniform Branch as well as the Intelligence & Counter-Intelligence divisions. He has conducted polygraph, vetting and counter-surveillance investigations as well as training of intelligence personnel. During his career with the SAPS, he has testified in the High Court, Regional Courts and Magistrate's Courts of South Africa. As a private examiner, he has given evidence at disciplinary hearings and the Council for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (CCMA) He holds a Bachelors Degree in Offender Profiling from the University of South Africa, majoring in Criminology and Psychology. He graduated from the prestigious American International Institute of Polygraph, and is a member of the American Polygraph Association (APA), South African Truth Verification Council (SATVC) and the British and European Polygraph Association (BEPA).
