The European Union Temporary Relocation Platform (EUTRP), an initiative of the European Commission, is a network of entities engaged in supporting human rights defenders (HRDs) at risk who are seeking temporary relocation, or who have been temporary relocated... In October 2015, the European Commission appointed ProtectDefenders.eu as the coordinator of the EUTRP. ProtectDefenders.eu, the European Union Human Rights Defenders mechanism, is established to protect defenders at high risk and facing the most difficult situations worldwide. It is led by a Consortium of 12 NGOs active in the field of Human Rights.
