Darlene Siegel - CFO

Biography Darlene Siegel has more than 30 years of experience in finance and accounting, focusing on streamlining processes, developing new pricing and proposal strategies, and increasing the bottom line. Prior to joining the InfraMap team in January 2021, Darlene has been involved specifically in the defense and government services industries for 19 of those years working as the senior financial executive for government contractors in the defense, technology and security services and solutions supporting organizations. Prior to joining InfraMap, she was the Chief Financial Officer for Advantage Engineers. As CFO for InfraMap, her responsibilities include finance, overseeing human resources and benefits, administration, and facilities management. Her understanding of operations and finance helps InfraMap achieve their long-term goals as well as their clients'. InfraMap relies heavily on her leadership to exceed all objectives. Darlene earned her Bachelor of Accounting from Christopher Newport University and her Master of Business Administration from Old Dominion University.

James Stewart

Biography James "Jimmy" Stewart, Jr. has more than a decade of experience in the engineering field. Prior to joining InfraMap in 2020, he served as a roadway designer and traffic engineer for multiple well-regarded professional engineering consulting firms. With a primary focus on subsurface utility engineering, Jimmy now manages and acts as the professional engineer in charge for jobs that scale from local roadway improvement projects to statewide on-call contracts with multiple state Departments of Transportation. As Director for InfraMap, his duties include contract management, project management, scheduling, proposal preparation, pricing, and QA/QC of the team deliverables. He oversees operational activities and manages InfraMap and subconsultant staff in Indiana, Georgia, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, and Mississippi.

John Midyette

Biography For nearly 25 years, John Midyette has been one of the foremost champions for the subsurface utility engineering and utility locating industry. As the primary business development expert for InfraMap, John has been charged with not only developing relationships on behalf of InfraMap, but to offer and expand educational opportunities within the civil engineering and transportation fields, demonstrating the importance and significant need for subsurface utility engineering and infrastructure mapping. John attended James Madison University where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. He also holds an associates degree from Ferrum College.

Kenneth Kerr - EVP

Biography Ken is an accomplished professional engineer and an expert in subsurface utility engineering with more than 27 years of engineering design, planning, and project management experience. He has worked as SUE project manager on numerous transportation improvement projects for the NJTA, NJDOT, NYSDOT, PennDOT, DelDOT, MDSHA, VTRANS, and PANYNJ, managed facility protection contracts at Aberdeen Proving Grounds and managed projects at hospitals, colleges and universities, industrial sites, and water/wastewater treatment plants. He specializes in identifying and creating a project-specific SUE program respective of the scope, schedule, and budget as well as quality assurance of the final deliverable report which identifies clarifications, conflict resolutions and recommendations. As the Executive Vice President for InfraMap Corp., Ken is responsible for overseeing company-wide operations, managing standard operating procedures and ensuring quality assurance and quality controls are followed for all project deliverables. Ken has been with InfraMap Corp. since 2008. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, MA.

Paul Hayes - CEO, Founder

Biography Paul Hayes has been a presence in the utility mapping industry for nearly four decades, beginning his career with So-Deep Inc., the first infrastructure mapping and subsurface utility engineering firm. Paul founded InfraMap Corp. in 1987 (then known as Accurate Locating) to develop new technologies and use them to provide utility infrastructure mapping services at reduced cost and schedule. Paul continues to serve as CEO and Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his role as CTO, he manages InfraMap's R&D and Engineered Solutions activities. Paul has designed and built side scan sonar, subsurface imaging systems, non-destructive excavation equipment, and custom utility locating solutions. He has written GPS data collection software, GIS software for managing utility data, and created GIS data models for all types of utility infrastructure. Among his numerous inventions are the Utilivac® portable air/vacuum excavator. The Utilivac system is now licensed to thousands of users worldwide for use in utility locating, non-destructive excavation, and environmental remediation. With Utilivac's portability and reliability in the most extreme conditions, it has even made the trip to Antarctica for remediation projects. Paul holds multiple degrees from the University of Pittsburgh where he studied Electrical and Software Engineering, Business Management, Communication Theory, Rhetoric, and Technical Writing.

Simon P. Ellis

Biography Simon Ellis is InfraMap's longest tenured employee, having joined our team in 1996 and currently serves as our Vice President of Field Operations. In his 25 years with InfraMap, he has completed multiple projects for SUE contracts for VDOT, MDOT, MSHA, FDOT, SCDOT, GDOT and numerous localities throughout the East Coast. Simon has extensive experience in subsurface and aerial utility location and designation, utility coordination, and project management. As Vice President of Field Operations, Simon oversees designating crews, coordinates survey, provides data to our CADD department to produce utility maps, and performs project review and quality assurance, throughout InfraMap's territories. When test holes are requested, he coordinates the efforts of InfraMap's air/vacuum excavation crews to provide precise vertical verification of existing utilities. Additionally, he oversees our field training programs. His consistent efforts have enabled InfraMap to take on and complete large projects on time and on budget. Simon is a veteran. He served in Operations Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom, and retired from the United States Marine Corps Reserve as a Gunnery Sergeant. "I had a few different jobs when I left active duty, but it rarely felt like I was doing anything meaningful or challenging in the "civilian world". That changed over 25 years ago when I began working here. InfraMap's on-the-job training allowed me to acquire new skills, take on new responsibilities, and eventually work my way up from an entry level position to Vice President of Field Operations."
