Dr. Alfuente was born in Houston, Texas, but moved to Florida in 1991. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Florida and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She worked as a dental laboratory technician and a dental sterilization assistant between undergraduate and dental school. Dr. Alfuente is a fully licensed and active member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the Jacksonville Dental Society. She enjoys working in all areas of general dentistry and uses the latest technology to provide comprehensive dental care. When away from the office, Dr Alfuente enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. She is happily married to her husband, Matthew, with whom she has three beautiful daughters named Kynslee, Kadyn, and Kylar.
