KKR Real Estate Select Trust Inc. ("KREST") is a recently organized, non-diversified, closed-end management investment company that intends, under normal market conditions, to invest at least 80% of its net assets (plus the amount of its borrowings for investment purposes) in a portfolio of real estate, including in the form of direct property investments and debt interests and to a lesser extent in traded real estate-related securities. KREST is a Maryland corporation and intends to elect to be taxed as a real estate investment trust for U.S. federal income tax purposes under the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.
