Debbie Daniels

Debbie's business experience began as a young teenager working alongside her father as he strived to build a new small business of his own. After 12 years under her dad's tutelage, she branched out on her own and now has over 40 years' experience working in and supporting a wide variety of industries from manufacturing to assisted living. She enjoys being an integral part of creating success in every company she works with. Her more recent experience as the Director of Administration & Accounting for the largest Senior Assisted Living Community in San Diego County helped her prepare for her crowning achievement of founding and Directing Idy's Helping Hands, Inc., a highly successful, all volunteer non-profit organization in the remote mountain community of Idyllwild, CA with a mission of providing much needed services to the elderly and homebound seniors living in the area. She created a "Meals on Wheels'' program where she partnered with local restaurants to deliver over 6000 meals to seniors and disabled residents during the Covid pandemic in 2020. With an extensive background in Business Administration, Management, HR and Accounting, she has the ability to apply her skillset to nearly any industry.

Lauren Marshall

Lauren's passions have always centered around serving others. She has spent nearly a decade working in the field of education supporting students, teachers, and families both in the classroom and the community. From providing classroom support to working with underserved children in after school programs, her focus remains on ensuring the success of others. In her spare time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and her two dogs. As PBS Accounting & Tax Solutions' Office Manager, she will use her specific skill set to support the team by managing the schedule, fielding client phone calls, and using her organizational and managerial skills to ensure smooth operations in working with clients and staff.

Melissa Diaz Hernandez

Melissa graduated with a bachelor's in creative writing and a minor in geology from California State University, Long Beach. After having her two children, she received a Master's in Public Health with a concentration in mental health and a master's in digital journalism. She has managed risk compliance portfolios for Fortune 500 companies, been the editor of two newspapers and worked in safety and risk at a charter school.

Penny Breslin - Founder

Penny Breslin is the founder of a consulting firm specializing in helping accounting firms and other businesses embrace the power of technology to simplify their operations. Drawing on her years of experience and her knowledge of what it takes to run a successful business, Penny oversees the development of back office processes. From the initial evaluation of the firm's workflow, to technology selection, to assisting in the on-boarding of the firm's clients, Penny works with her clients to maximize the benefits of a paperless and cloud-based firm. Penny has been recognized by Worldwide Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership, and excellence in providing quality consulting services to an international clientele made up of CPA firms and other businesses. Penny holds a Master of Business Administration in Global Management and is a member of the QuickBooks Pro-Advisor Group, is a Xero Certified Advisor, a member of the Wave Pro Network, and a FreshBooks consultant. She has also co-authored the book, "CFO Services for the Accounting Firm: How to Start." A firm believer in being able to work from anywhere, you'll often find Penny working on the beach after a morning surf session. She's also an avid supporter of Meals on Wheels and Oxfam.

Vanessa Vasquez

Vanessa Vasquez has a 20-year career in business and business development and has trained the Hispanic community for over 15 years to understand and use QuickBooks correctly and work less getting better results. Her primary goal is to help Hispanic entrepreneurs and accountants succeed by coordinating the financial management process of their small businesses through education and the application of technology. As a Latino entrepreneur, Vanessa recognizes the importance of providing training opportunities and financial solutions for the rapidly growing Latino small business community. Vanessa's vision is to bring joy into the lives of her clients through financial prosperity and stable planning by using the right tools and processes to grow and expand their businesses. Vanessa is committed to providing the best training, education and content experience in the QuickBooks accounting tool, creating the potential for better decision-making for the end user and entrepreneurs. She develops training and content on topics such as the Firm of the Future, QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online as accounting tools and applications, Compliance with tax and accounting laws for Latin America and the application of QuickBooks in your businesses, Analysis and workflow management through QuickBooks tools and applications. She was one of the first Latinas to present at Scaling New Heights, an international conference for all Intuit ProAdvisors.
