SOLID BASE MANAGEMENT - Key Persons
Aaron graduated from the Utrecht school of Arts in 2008, after which he studied Film Science at the University of Amsterdam. His graduation film I Wish I Could Share The Happiness Of Being Alone With Someone Else (2008) won several awards, as well as his debut short Wednesdays, released in 2012.
After several more shorts, including the acclaimed A Good Life (2015), he directed episodes for series including Godforsaken (2017), Icarus (2016) and Towers of Power (2018). Notably, he has written the episode Ik ben ik in the second season of NOOD (Pumpkin/BNN VARA, 2022) and the fourth season of the series Dertigers (Hollands Licht Productions, 2022).
His debut feature-length film was Goodbye Stranger (Topkapi, 2022) and starred acclaimed actor Martijn Lakemeier. Currently, Aaron is wrapping up his second feature, and writer's debut, The IDYLLE (Studio Ruba).
Alongside his career as a director, Aaron is a lecturer at the Utrecht University of the Arts.
Eché Janga is a talented director, who has proved himself with an impressive portfolio. He has won several awards, including the prestigious Golden Calf Award for Best Film for his third feature film Buladó. The film was considered as the Dutch entry for the Best International Film for the Oscars 2020 and was an unique project because it was completely shot at the island of Curaçao in Papiamentu. Buladó also won an award at the New York International Children's Film Festival (NTICFF).
