The Datai Pledge is a Private Trust dedicated to improving the well-being of the environment, wildlife and local community of Langkawi. Initiated in 2019 to create a robust conservation and sustainability programme for The Datai Langkawi, the initiative aims to expand with future properties and locations... The Langkawi archipelago off Malaysia's northwest coast is made up of 99 islands, although only three including the main island are inhabited. The island's 500-million-year-old geological formation and rich biodiversity resulted in Langkawi achieving geopark status..
