Amanda has been working as a veterinary technician for over 25 years and has a passion for canine behavior. Amanda is also a member of IVAPM (international veterinary academy for pain management.) A professional member of the IACP (international academy of Canine Professionals) and Elite Level Fear Free Certified.
Brenda has had many years of experience in customer service and after working in animal care for a little over a decade, Brenda joined the VADER family in 2018 and has never looked back! After a day of helping clients and their pets, she likes to relax by reading, cooking and enjoying the great outdoors.
Dr. Pang completed her veterinary degree in 1992 from OVC at U of G. After a one-year internship at Auburn University, she practiced as a small animal veterinarian for many years. She is currently the Practice Manager for V.A.D.E.R. Clinic, which keeps her very busy. You may not see her at the clinic, but she loves seeing the many pets that come through our doors! Her time is spent with her family of dogs, cats, horses, 2 girls and 1 husband. She also enjoys food, travelling, downhill skiing, painting and playing music, mostly on her piano but she is learning to play the guitar currently.
Dr. Yu graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1990, completed a residency and Master's degree at Auburn University in 1995, and obtained Board Certification in the American Academy of Veterinary Dermatology in 1996. Dr. Yu practiced in Portland, Oregon for 11 years before returning home to teach at OVC as an Associate Professor for 9 years. Dr. Yu returned to private referral practice in 2013 where he helps to get to the root of chronic ear, skin, endocrine, and allergic conditions in dogs, cats, and horses. Dr. Yu also has a keen interest in Video-otoscopy and LASER surgery.
Dr. Glenna Maur is a recent graduate of St. George's University Veterinary School, having completed her veterinary degree, as well as her Master of Science degree, in June of 2023. In July of the same year, she eagerly joined the VADER Clinic team as a Dermatology Intern, where she is beginning her training and following her passion towards becoming a board-certified veterinary dermatologist. In her spare time, Glenna is curled up reading books with her two cats and dog at home, or on the golf course.
Dr. O'Shaughnessy-Hunter graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2014. After practicing in general practice in BC and Ottawa for 3 years she performed a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in PEI followed by a 3-year dermatology residency at V.A.D.E.R. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology in 2021 and was excited to stay on as a member of the V.A.D.E.R. team. Dr.O'Shaughnessy-Hunter has a particular interest in allergic, congenital and immune-mediated skin diseases.
Dr. Goodale received her veterinary degree from the Ontario Veterinary College and completed her dermatology residency at the University of California, Davis. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatologists in 2016. After working in California for 5 years, Elizabeth moved home to Canada to join the team at VADER in 2018. She has an interest in immune mediated skin diseases, canine atopic dermatitis and equine dermatology.
Dr Robert Ward graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Scotland worked in general practice in the south of England before moving to Canada and working as an emergency veterinarian in Ottawa. He joined VADER Clinic in 2021 and sits as an Executive Committee member of the Canadian Academy of Veterinary Dermatology. Outside of work Dr Ward is an avid Rugby supporter and dabbles in homebrewing. He also enjoys exploring the local area with his wife Jessie, and indulging his (spoiled) Boston Terrier, Lucy.
Elizabeth has had many years of experience in customer service, with more than five years in the veterinary field. This has broadened her knowledge of animal care and their special needs. Elizabeth shares her home with her dog and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys reading, photography and spending time with family and friends.
Erika is a graduate of the Animal Care, Veterinary Technician & Wildlife Technician programs at Seneca College. She began her career in 2007 on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. After returning to Ontario she gained extensive experience in emergency and exotic medicine. Erika has had a variety of pets over the years, including dogs, cats, birds, an assortment of pocket pets, and fish; but is now focused on enjoying family time with her husband and daughters.
Greta has had a passion for taking care of animals since she was a child. After completing her high school co-op at a busy referral practice in Mississauga, she was hired on as a Veterinary Assistant and has continued to work as a Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist for 25+ years. Greta has worked in general practice, referral practice and spent over 15 years working in Emergency practice. Greta shares her home with her husband, 3 children and 2 very active Boxers.
Jennie has over 30 years' experience working in the veterinary field, including just shy of 25 years at the OVC, where she found her niche teaching Dermatology students in 2000. She holds RVT certificate #4, has been distinguished several times, is currently the only RVT on the Executive Committee for the CAVD, is a Charter Member of the ADVT, and is currently the only VTS (Dermatology) in Canada. She is an accomplished international speaker and author, and loves what she does for a living. Jennie shares her life with her husband, their children, and of course, two four legged friends.
Jodi's love for animals started when she was a kid. Her family owned reptiles, fish, birds, cats and dogs; which lead her to one of her first jobs at a small animal clinic after high school. She has welcomed many wonderful animals into her home since then. She has been working with small animals for 15+ years as a veterinary assistant. Jodi has experience in Emergency, ICU care as well as Referral Surgery. She has also done some work with spay/neuter clinics up north. On her free time, she loves hiking, camping, going to the movies or just hang out at home with her husband and kids.
Martha grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania, she moved to Canada in 2007. Martha has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years. After passing the national board to become a registered veterinary technician, she worked in general practice for 7 years. She then found her way into emergency and veterinary referral medicine. Martha joined The Derm Team family in May 2018. Martha, her husband and 2 children share their home with 2 dogs and Princess Chili Saucy Pants, a very feisty cat. In her free time, Martha can be found crocheting and collecting yarn!
Sarah joins The Derm Team as a Registered Veterinary Technician and is excited to be a part of helping pets live a more comfortable life. Sarah's experience comes from working 21 years in a mixed animal practice, after graduating from Ridgetown College in 1997. Sarah, her husband and son share their home with their furry, feathered and finned family.
Tami is very passionate veterinary assistant dedicated to the health and well being of animals. Tami's devotion to animal healthcare started as a child growing up on a farm where she was always surrounded by animals. After spending 10 years with the Toronto Equine Hospital as a veterinary assistant, Tami made the move to small animals working in surgery and dermatology. Tami has worked with a number of rescue organizations fostering dogs helping to find their forever homes. Tami has an active home she shares with her husband, 3 kids, 3 dogs and a cat. Running and yoga keep her grounded.

Tania has been a Registered Veterinary Technician for over 25 years. Her passion for work with animals started as a co-op student in high school and she has been working in small animal practice ever since. In May 2023, she joined the derm team to pursue her interest in dermatology. Tania enjoys spending time with her family, loves gardening, taking gym classes and walks with her chihuahua Levi.
Taziah has always been an animal lover. While working on her Psychology degree at the University of Waterloo, Taziah was a volunteer dogwalker at her local shelter. After graduating, she found her way into animal care at the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society where she worked as an Animal Care Attendant and Adoption Councillor. While there, Taziah also became involved with the K-W Emergency Pet Food Bank. Taziah is passionate about animal welfare. She lives in Kitchener with her rescue cat, Toulouse.
