Renata Marie Vestevich enjoyed a 30-year career in cosmetology and the hair replacement industry. The last 22 years were devoted to clients at her hair replacement salon, Advanced Hair Solutions, in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In 2021, she retired as owner of AHS to devote her time and energy to RMV Trademarks and the products she is developing for individuals facing challenges to their health and/or appearance. Her professional journey was one that evolved through several stages.
Vestevich studied nursing and was employed for 7 years in the medical field before leaving to fulfill her dream of creating and operating her own salon. After 10 years as a successful salon owner, she faced a personal struggle when her courageous sister-in-law battled leukemia and subsequent hair loss during her chemotherapy treatment. During this time, Vestevich found that many of her clients, both male and female, also wrestled with hair loss issues due to chemotherapy and various other conditions such as stress, thyroid disorders, hormonal changes, autoimmune disorders, nutritional deficiencies, and the most common cause of hair loss-where the hair is genetically programmed to fall out gradually-"Androgenetic Alopecia" or "Female/Male Pattern Hair Loss."
Recognizing how emotionally distressing both scalp and eyebrow hair loss can be, Vestevich was inspired to further her professional education. She traveled extensively throughout the United States to study with leading hair replacement educators in order to better serve her clients with the most progressive solutions pertaining to all types of hair loss.
She found that there were many solutions and products to successfully address scalp hair loss, but there was nothing to offer her clients that would nourish and protect the eyebrows. So Vestevich collaborated with a prominent research laboratory and spent 6 years formulating, extensively testing, and obtaining patent protection for EES - Essential Eyebrow Solution®.
