OSC was registered as a 501C-3 in 1998 due to a perceived need to create a relief agency that required recipients to develop skills needed so they would never have to rely on charity again. In the USA, we require families to attend employment and finance management workshops. Overseas recipients are trained how to utilize vital medicines supplied. OSC is designed to teach people "how to fish" as they eat the fish we have just given them... OSC is a global child relief agency that serves the children of God. OSC provides food, medicine and shelter for families in crisis and develops programs for a self-sustaining society... Additionally, OSC provides support for ‘special' needs that other agencies do not cover. Examples: car batteries; plumbing services, prescription medication support and numerous others special needs.
