Dr. Pamela Pruitt - President

Dr. Pruitt is Chair for the National Association of Diversity Officers in Higher Education (NADOHE) Northeast Tri-State Chapter (NY/NJ/PA). Additionally, she serves as a Board Director for the Capital Area YMCA and the Trenton Health Team. She is a former Chair of the Spouse/Partner Nominating Committee of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU). She is past Board Chair (2003-2012) and Director Emeritus of the Trenton Public Education Foundation (TPEF). She is also past Board member of Women in Development (WID) of Mercer County; and, past Board member of Alliance for Women in Media - New York Chapter, formerly American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT). She is active in The Recording Academy, American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), and Toastmasters International. She has received numerous awards and commendations and was selected as one of "Twelve Women to Watch" by the Times Picayune [Pick-e-yoon] in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Pruitt is currently Executive Director of the Center for Diversity and Inclusion at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ, where she is responsible for promoting unity, diversity, equity, and inclusion among the campus community through best practices, programs, training, celebrations, and community outreach. She is also an adjunct professor in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Rider, and a guest lecturer for the Byrne Seminar at the School of Communication & Information (SC&I) at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
