Pediatrics East was purchased by Children's of Alabama in 1996 and today operates two locations serving both sick and well children from birth to 21 years.The original Roebuck office relocated in 2011 to Trussville. Through these two offices, Pediatrics East provides pediatric medical care to families in Jefferson, St. Clair and Blount counties and the surrounding areas... The Alabama Children's Hospital Foundation coordinates all charitable support for the mission of Children's of Alabama, a not-for-profit medical center. Philanthropic support from our community helps cover the expenses of vital programs and services that are not reimbursed through insurance. These gifts help Children's maintain the quality of the healthcare provided to our region's most ill and critically injured children, and also provide support for pediatric research and education.
