Kyler Swanson - Treasurer

Job Titles:
  • Treasurer
Hi, my name is Kyler, and I work as an embryologist and andrologist at the local infertility clinic, Arizona Center for Fertility Studies (ACFS). I was recruited by ACFS in the fall of 2012 to join the reproductive medical team with a biological sciences degree from the University of Calgary, and 2 years of animal science/genetics experience. Entering the medical field always felt inevitable for me; the fast pace, the cutting-edge technology, and the devotion needed to help people achieve their dreams were all qualities I wanted in a career, and qualities I could offer. Being from Canada, I enjoy playing hockey and winter sports in general, but must admit it is pretty nice to golf year-round and not have to shovel snow! When the heat of the desert is too much to bear, I like to escape up north and go camping with my family and friends. I grew up captaining hockey teams, holding president and vice-president positions in 4-H, and eventually became president of my graduation committee and earned valedictorian of my graduating class. I feel honored to be selected to hold an executive position with The Desert Southwest Embryology Association, and am looking forward to helping our group become a prestigious, well-known committee in the embryology world.
