D-Fi is the local, Wanaka based and operated ISP company. We started providing Internet Services in early 2013... The Internet you get from D-Fi comes through our high-speed Fibre connections into Wanaka and out to our repeaters around the region. You as a customer receive the Internet through a small (30-40cm) dish on your house which is then cabled to a small wireless router inside somewhere. D-Fi has dedicated bandwidth right into Wanaka so we can not be affected by other local ISP congestion or a slow copper network at night time
