eleQtron is the first manufacturer of quantum computer hardware in Germany. Our MAGIC technology is groundbreaking and will make it possible to provide computing time on quantum computers for industrial applications. We are a highly qualified international team and have already been able to convince major investors with our project, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research... eleQtron GmbH was founded in 2020 as a spin-off of the Department of Quantum Optics at the University of Siegen and is home to the first German quantum computer. The core business of the start-up of founder Prof. Dr. Christof Wunderlich, Dr. Michael Johanning and CEO Jan Leisse is the development and operation of future-oriented quantum computers based on stored ions.
