We believe the Bible to be inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We proclaim the sovereignty of God Who created all things and sustains and guides all history and people according to His perfect will. His love is supremely expressed in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Who by sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection reconciles alienated human beings to God the Father. We proclaim this salvation to all people, inviting them to receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior from sin and to become members of God's family. We are grateful for the work of the Holy Spirit Who makes Jesus Christ known, as He convicts of sin and judgment and leads into all truth. We look forward to the coming again of Jesus Christ in power and great glory at the end of this age of grace... First Presbyterian Church at Norristown exists to worship God through the proclamation of His word, through descipleship, and through service.
