Jeffrey Olivas

Jeffrey Olivas is a Colorado native. He discovered dance when he was 12 years old, growing up in Northglenn, Colorado. He was invited to take dance classes for free at a local dance studio because the studio was recruiting male dancers. He's been dancing ever since. He has danced professionally at Disney World (Orlando, FL), Harrah's Casino (Lake Tahoe, CA), and for Seabourn Cruise Line. He also performed and taught ballroom dancing, jazz and dance for musical theater at studios in New Jersey and New York. He later co-founded a dance association in France, where he taught and performed for 13 years. He founded Pulse Dance in Colorado in 2016 and is bringing his instruction to Las Cruces in 2022. Jeffrey enjoys teaching dance because it builds a sense of community and allows students an opportunity for creative expression.

Yannick Garreau

Yannick Garreau, a native of France, began his dance career at the age of 19. While he was working in a restaurant, more than one diner asked him if he was a dancer due to his perfect posture and graceful movement. He took that as a sign and signed up for dance classes. Yannick continued his dance training in New York, where he studied ballet, ballroom dance, jazz and musical theater. He also performed and taught dance at dance studios in New Jersey and New York. With Jeffrey, he later co-founded a dance association in France, where he taught and performed for 13 years. He cofounded Pulse Dance with Jeffrey in Colorado in 2016. and will be assisting with instruction in Las Cruces. Yannick enjoys helping students learn to have fun and gain confidence on the dance floor.
