WATER AND CLIMATE COALITION

The Water and Climate Coalition was founded in 2020 by 10 UN Entities (WMO, FAO, IFAD, UNDP, UNECE, UNEP, UNICEF, UNU, UNESCO, WHO) and GWP to address the gaps identified in the UN SDG6 Global Acceleration Framework. The Water and Climate Coalition supports the implementation of the Framework with a focus on all the five key areas... The Water and Climate Coalition consists of the leaders and the members. The leaders of the coalition lead the change for a more resilient world by bringing the Integrated Water and Climate Agenda to the global political arena and providing high-level guidance to the members of the coalition. The members consist of a diverse group of organizations and individuals who collaborate on concrete activities to tackle water and climate challenges.
