Simon's musical education began with violin lessons at the age of five. Ten months later he took up the piano and then at the age of twelve he was offered a place to study piano and violin at the Royal Academy of Music. Simon continued to study both disciplines at the Royal Academy in conjunction with a degree in Music at Bristol University. During this time he was an award-winner at the Royal Academy of Music and from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music...
