Dan Stones - CEO

Dan has been involved in the development and construction industry for over 15 years, starting out at Site Management level before progressing to Project Management. He has overseen developments across the South West acting for various developers and working primarily with Main Contractors. Dan started 5D Solutions, his own Property Development company, in 2015 and successfully delivered his first scheme in 2017. Dan has forged some terrific relationships with land owners, developers and other local businesses over the years and 5D Construction is reaping the benefit of them. (Un)interesting fact: Dan's title is CEO as no-one could really work out what he does…and we thought CEO sounded "busy and important".

Jan Morton - Managing Director

Jan is a dynamic and experienced engineering manager, who has worked in several civil engineering disciplines, latterly at Director level. He is determined, innovative and thorough, with an eye for detail, and has a track record of problem solving of both technical and management issues. Jan left his former employer to join Dan in forming the company. His meticulous approach ensures the company is in safe hands day-to-day and all of our Site Managers report directly to him on a regular basis. He is a stickler for Quality Assurance and his paperwork trails are the things of legend. (Un)interesting fact: For a man who could often be described as "mellow" Jan has an exceptionally competitive side. If Go-Kart tracks operated a yellow/red card system, Jan would spend more time "suspended" than he would racing!

Jo Stones

Job Titles:
  • HR & Quality Manager
Jo has had a long and varied career in senior leadership and HR positions as well as running her own successful HR, Coaching & Therapy business. Jo is Dan's partner in 5D Solutions, where she brings a wealth of business knowledge and skills to the Sales and Customer Service part of the business - ensuring our "end users" receive the best in terms of product and service.

Tracy Conibeer

Job Titles:
  • Accounts Manager
Tracy is an experienced financial and office manager with many years' experience in all aspects of administration coupled with strong management skills. She enjoys a challenge and gains satisfaction from hitting targets and keeping standards to the highest level. Tracy oversees all of the company's transactions and accounts utilising industry recognised software including Sage and Pegasus CIS. Having worked with both Directors in the past, Tracy is a fundamental part of the team and makes sure all the supplier and subcontract accounts remain in order. She also reacts calmly to the frequent pestering for information from the CEO & MD…despite both of them asking for things "yesterday". (Un)interesting fact: Tracy has a great network of friends and family who she loves to make time for. Always making plans for a "lunch here" or "drinks there" - such a Social Butterfly!
