In 2018 I was in the Bahamas working on Yacht Support Vessel Shadow where Dorian destroyed nearly everything in 2019. I can imagine the situation for the people there because after hurricanes Irma and Maria hit the Caribbean in 2017 I was on-site working alongside salvage teams, yacht charter companies, vessel owners, P&I insurance representatives, other surveyors and repair/recycling facilities... Following the loss of Microsoft Co-founder Paul Allan, his vessel Octopus came on the market. I used to work on Octopus as one of the engineers and believe she is the most impressive vessel afloat on the water today.
