Dr Nollaig Heffernan

Dr Nollaig Heffernan is a Sport and Exercise Psychologist (BPS) and a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland. She is an independent Management Consultant and works with businesses from Dr Nollaig Heffernan sole traders to multinationals specialising in Leadership and Management, Organisational Psychology, Workplace Performance and Stress Management. In her role as a Sport Psychologist she works with all abilities from beginner to elite in a wide range of sports. She is a successful rowing coach with wins at national and international level. She is on the International Editorial Advisory Board of the International Journal of Stress Prevention & Wellbeing.

Dr Siobhain O'Riordan

Dr Siobhain O'Riordan is the Associate Director at the Centre for Coaching. She is a Course Co-Director on the coaching and coaching psychology programmes and a trainer at the Centre. She is a Chartered Psychologist, International Society for Coaching Psychology Accredited Coaching Psychologist and Supervisor, and a CABA Chartered Certified Coach. She is Founder Chair of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, Editor of Coaching Psychology International and Co-Editor of the European Journal of Applied Positive Psychology. Her other posts include being a Director of the International Academy for Professional Development Ltd. She supervises PhD/DPsych research students at City University London.

Kasia Szymanska

She is a Chartered Psychologist, International Society for Coaching Psychology Accredited Coaching Psychologist, and a CABA Chartered Certified Coach. She is Membership Secretary of the International Society for Coaching Psychology, and a former Editor of The Coaching Psychologist published by the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology. She is a Director of the International Academy for Professional Development Ltd.

Kate Thomas

Kate Thomas is a Director of the Stephen Palmer Partnership. She is our External Contracts Director at the Stephen Palmer Partnership Ltd. She co-authored with Prof Stephen Palmer and Prof Sir Cary Cooper, Creating a Balance: Managing Stress published by The British Library. She has published papers on stress theory and stress management.

Nick Edgerton

Nick Edgerton is Co-Director of the Coaching programmes and is a chartered psychologist. He developed the cognitive behavioural SPACE model of coaching, counselling and stress management which he teaches at the Centre for Coaching and Centre for Stress Management.

Prof Stephen Palmer

The Co-Director of the Stephen Palmer Partnership is Professor Stephen Palmer, a Business and Coaching Psychologist and a Chartered Health & Safety Practitioner. He is Professor of Practice at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David and Adjunct Professor of Coaching Psychology at Aalborg University, Denmark. He is an International Society for Coaching Psychology Accredited Coaching Psychologist, an Association for Professional Executive Coaching & Supervisors (APECS) accredited Executive Coach and APECS accredited Executive Coach Supervisor. He has 40 years of experience in business and management. Currently, he is an Honorary President of the International Stress Management Association (UK), and Honorary President of the International Society for Coaching Psychology. He was the first Chair of the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology. He is an Honorary Fellow of the Association for Coaching and Former President. He is Co-editor with Averil Leimon of the Essential Coaching Skills and Knowledge book series published by Routledge, Editor of the Routledge Coaching Psychology book series and Editor of the Stress Counselling book series for Sage. He has authored/edited over 50 books. His books include the Handbook of Coaching Psychology (with Whybrow) and Handbook of Counselling (with McMahon).

Sheila Panchal

Sheila Panchal is a coaching and business psychologist working across a range of sectors. She is co-author of ‘Turning 30: How to get the life you really want' (with Jackson, 2005) and co-editor of ‘Developmental Coaching: Life transitions and generational perspectives' (with Palmer, 2011). She is a Co-Director of the Centre for Positive Transitions. She holds a Professional Development Certificate in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney. Sheila specialises in transitions, from developmental turning points to dealing with the stress of organisational change. She is former Honorary Secretary of the International Society for Coaching Psychology and is currently a Director.
