West Port was established in 2016 by Colin Cheng, Khalifa Abubakar and Shaun Ihejetoh. The founders met in 2006 while studying architecture in Edinburgh. They were drawn together by their shared values and beliefs in the social and environmental good thoughtfully considered buildings and spaces can achieve... West Port architects is a RIBA chartered architectural practice in London focused on delivering high-quality spaces considerate of local context, the environment and human well-being... Alongside our building work we strive to open up both the service and profession of architecture to many more people. At West Port we believe that for architecture to truly help improve the quality of our built, social and natural environments it must broaden its audience and work harder to involve all members of society in its activities. It is therefore our endeavour to develop our practice in a direction that allows us to be approachable and accessible to many.
