Springfield Advice & Law Centre is open to clients, with priority given to those who are also patients of the South West London Mental Health NHS Trust. We are an independent charity providing specialist advice on housing, community care, debt and welfare benefit matters... We are funded by Merton Council to provide legal advice, debt and benefit services, at our offices and at community healthcare settings within the borough. We are also funded by the Merton Giving Renewal Fund to provide legal advice services on debt and welfare benefits law to clients with mental health difficulties, who reside, study or receive care within the borough of Merton - particularly those who have been adversely affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. The majority of our housing and community care law work is funded by Legal Aid and so eligibility criteria apply.
