Ed Brown

Ed was born into a family that has been hiking and mountaineering for nearly 80 years. Consequently it isn't surprising that he led his first mountain routes before he was 10. Fast forward to the present and he is a qualified Climbing Coach with 6 years' experience running successful Squads for Climbing Centres across the UK. He is also a keen long distance walker having walked the West Highland Way, Coast to Coast and Tour du Mont Blanc. In his spare time he will usually be in his home territory - the Lake District - hiking, scrambling, climbing and working towards his Winter Mountain Leader and Mountaineering Instructor Award.

Gerry Stentiford

Gerry Stentiford is a Head of Geography in a secondary school and has just moved with is family to live in South Wales. His previous career saw him work as a management consultant and as a trainee outdoor instructor in New Zealand. He is ML qualified and WML trained and regularly runs Gold DofE expeditions to all parts of the UK. His own personal mountaineering has taken him to the Alps, Russia, Himilayas and New Zealand.

Guy Nash

Guy grew up in Dorset, The Jurassic coast quickly becoming his go to playground. Guy is our resident water baby, he specialises in just about anything water, from lifesaving to sailing. Guy spends most of his time teaching outdoor professionals first aid, critical skills for any potential adventurer. Adventurous training has now become his lifetime passion, dedicated to introducing people to the outdoors through a variety of means. In his downtime, Guy can be spotted Kayaking, Skiing, and has even been found up a mountain or two!

James Wragg

Working full time in the outdoors James has a degree in Outdoor Education and is a qualified canoe coach, mountain leader and climbing wall instructor. He is an outdoor enthusiast with a lifelong passion for adventure and over 10 years experience in the industry. When not at work James can be found either bouldering, dog walking or on adventures with his family.

Nick Hollis

Nick started climbing mountains when he had days off at university. Later with a demanding job in HP he still found the time to climb 6 of the 7 summits, and the final peak - Everest - still lies on the horizon. He's climbed extensively in mountain ranges including Alaska, the Andes, the Himalayas & the Alps and is a fully qualified International Mountain Leader, Winter Mountain Leader, Climbing Instructor, sports nutritionist and personal trainer. His lifetime goal is to share his obsession with all things adventurous.

Sarah Hatch

Fellow adventurer and climbing enthusiast Sarah is Fitways' head Marketer and Graphic Designer. Behind the scenes she is working hard to make sure Fitways Adventures web and promo material lives up to it's reputation & high standards. "I've loved working for such an exciting company, it beats working for a soul-less corporation. They really care about doing good things for their clients, what can be better than giving people an experience of a lifetime? I'm very proud to be a part of it all anyway."

Simon Jones

Simon is from Betws y Coed, near to the peaks of North Wales. He used to work for Snowdonia National Park as a warden and now works in outdoor education, guiding & teaching mountain skills. Simon holds the Mountain Instructor Award (MIA) and Winter Mountain Leader award, and is a full member of the Association of Mountain Instructors (AMI). Simon is also a International Mountain leader. When not in the hills he can be found Surfing or Snowboarding.
