Adam Marks

Adam Marks is VP of Business Development. He helps to source, onboard and manage the day to day relationships with investors, clients and platforms. Adam also manages Fintex's marketing and Investor Reporting. Before joining Fintex Capital, Adam spent 10 years working within varied sectors of the Financial Services industry including as a consultant and just before joining Fintex, as Chief of Staff to the Commercial Banking Director at TSB Bank. His career initially started in politics where he worked for a number of leading MPs.

Anna Masica

Chris Woodford - COO

Chris brings over 20 years of senior financial and operational management experience to Fintex Capital's senior team and works closely with CEO Robert Stafler devising and implementing operational and financial strategy. As COO he oversees the firms legal, financial, operational and regulatory matters, as well as using his commercial expertise in the structuring and funding of real estate transactions. Chris is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants qualifying in 2000 before embarking on a successful career spanning 15 years within investment banking. Chris has held various leadership roles within HSBC, Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered where he went on to become global CFO for their real estate portfolio. Chris saw an opportunity to leverage his strategic and commercial mindset and moved onto Mount Street LLP, a loan servicing and debt management business as Financial Director. During his tenure he oversaw a management buy-out, corporate acquisitions and expansion of the business and its corporate governance functions. Prior to joining Fintex Capital, Chris Woodford was Financial Director at Reditum Capital, a boutique debt advisory business specialising in structuring joint venture funding for real estate transactions. As part of the senior leadership team, Chris played a key role in the development of the finance, treasury and operational functions, driving business strategy and portfolio growth while maximising financial returns for investors. Chris is a graduate from the University of the West of England with a BA in Accounting & Finance and lives in Cambridge.

Joon Cho

Joon joined Fintex Capital in 2021 as an Analyst. Prior to joining Fintex Capital, Joon worked as an Analyst at Catella APAM, a pan-European real estate investment and asset management firm with an AUM of £10bn. He has also worked as an intern in both the debt capital markets division at Mirae Asset, South Korea's largest investment bank, and DRC Capital, a real estate debt fund with £3bn AUM. Joon graduated from University College London with a Bachelors degree in Statistics, Economics and Finance.

Jérôme Anglade - Founder

Jérôme has 18 years' experience in structuring, trading and risk-managing fixed income products having spent more than 11 years at Morgan Stanley in London where he was Managing Director and Head of the European Structured Credit Group. Together with Robert Stafler he founded Fintex Capital. Previously, he served a Global Head of Structured Illiquid Credit Trading at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in London and as Senior Portfolio Manager at Citi Capital Advisors, the alternative investment arm of Citigroup, recently renamed Napier Park Global. Jérôme started his career at Société Générale in 1995.In early 2013, Jérôme co-founded Maple Bay Asset Management, an independent fixed income investment management firm investing in US P2P consumer loans on Prosper Marketplace, one of the world's largest marketplaces for peer-to-peer loans. Whilst at Maple Bay Asset Management, Jérôme acted as Head of Risk. In mid-2014, Maple Bay Asset Management was acquired by a US private equity firm, to which Jérôme remains a senior advisor in Europe. Jérôme joined Excellion Capital in mid-2014 to focus on P2P and Structured Credit. Jérôme graduated from École Polytechnique in Paris with an MS in Physics.

Rafi Goldberg - Chief Risk Officer

Rafi is Fintex Capital's Chief Risk Officer. He has extensive experience in mathematical modelling, problem solving and quantitative research. Prior to Fintex he worked for the UK Government in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, where he was specifically involved in forecasting the UK Government's £5bn student loan budget for Higher Education. Previously, he worked in the Research Department of MSCI Barra (M Stanley) and for Kyte Fund Management, a long-short equity hedge fund. Rafi Goldberg has also worked for Watson Wyatt in an actuarial capacity, involving strategic asset liability modelling for pension funds, and risk analysis on equity and fixed income portfolios in the selection of fund managers for pension funds. Rafi graduated from London School of Economics with a BSc in Business Mathematics and Statistics and furthered his studies with an MSc in Computing Science from Imperial College.

Since our firm's inception, Robert Stafler leads the activities of Fintex Capital as Chief Executive. Rob is a veteran investor in alternative credit. His involvement in marketplace lending started as early as 2007, which is when the Fintech industry was born. At the time, Rob invested in a young German fintech start-up, auxmoney GmbH, as an early-stage seed investor. For the next 7 years, Rob actively participated in growing the company and shaping its nascent marketplace for consumer loans. Today, auxmoney is continental Europe's largest online lender, having given birth to well in excess of 2 billion worth of loans. Since 2016 Fintex is the only multi-institutional investor on auxmoney's marketplace for loans, having purchased receivables originated by auxmoney for in excess of 200 million. Prior to this, Robert worked at JPMorgan and JPMorgan Cazenove in Investment Banking for close to a decade with a focus on Debt and Equity Capital Markets. In 2007, he also co-founded Excellion Capital, a successful London-based merchant banking boutique combining real estate debt advisory with principal investments.
