ETG supports, represents and informs UK businesses and installations covered by the UK Scheme. ETG also covers members' interests in Climate Change Agreements, the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme, Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting and the follow up to the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures. An important focus of the ETG is the path to net zero and the means by which it can be achieved. We attract a widely-based multi-disciplinary membership of organisations extending to industrial companies, Trade Associations and service providers... ETG's membership represents a high proportion of UK carbon emissions covered by the UK Emissions Trading System. The business-led ETG offers a forum for discussion and resolution of all aspects of emissions trading and enables communication to take place between commerce and industry, and the UK Government.
