Gurpreet Singh Jagpal - CEO

Gurpreet is a Chartered Accountant and studied Business Economics at Durham University. With over 15 years' experience in business restructuring and turnaround Gurpreet joined the business initially as Finance Director and was appointed Chief Executive in 2015. Whilst working in business restructuring and turnaround, Gurpreet specialized in retail and property during the Global financial crisis of 2008 to 2011. Working with commercial and residential property owners as well as large financial institutions, he assisted in managing and maximizing the value of property assets and accordingly has a breadth of Commercial and Property experience. Over recent years, Gurpreet has been instrumental in growing the number of projects we undertake and property investments we hold. Gurpreet is also a Non Executive Director of Believe Housing - a not for profit social housing organization based in County Durham. As a father of three young daughters, a keen supporter of Liverpool football club and a passionate volunteer and board member of Young Enterprise he is as busy away from the office as he is in the office!

Lord Wrigglesworth of Norton-on-Tees - Chairman

Lord Wrigglesworth has had an extensive business career and has been involved in commercial and industrial property for over thirty years. From 1987, as Executive Deputy Chairman, he was responsible for the property portfolio of the Teesside-based Livingston Group and its subsidiary, Fairfield Industries, and he was Executive Chairman of UK Land Estates from 1995 until his retirement in 2009. He started life in business when he left Stockton Grammar School and went to work at the Midland Bank in Middlesbrough. He later worked at National Girobank in the City. He has been a director of many different businesses, including Tyne Tees Television and the Port of Tyne, where he retired as Chairman in 2012. He was also Chairman of the Northern CBI and founder Chairman of the Northern Business Forum. Lord Wrigglesworth has also had an extensive political career. He was MP for Teesside Thornaby and Stockton South between 1974 and 1987, during which time he was one of the founding members of the SDP. He went on to be the first National President of the Liberal Democrats and now sits in the House of Lords as a Liberal Democrat Peer. Lord Wrigglesworth is married to Tricia, who was a Health Visitor. They lived in Notting Hill and in Heddon House at Heddon-on-the-Wall in the Tyne Valley, but now live in Richmond-upon-Thames in close proximity to the families of their two sons and daughter.
