Abigail Joseph

Job Titles:
  • Panel Coordinator
Abigail Joseph plays a key role in Frame Projects' work to manage the Camden Design Review Panel, the Kensington and Chelsea Quality Review Panel and the Old Kent Road Community Review Panel. She also helped to set up the Somerset West and Taunton Quality Review Panel, and supports the coordination of LETI climate training sessions for Frame's panels. Abigail studied Sociology at Goldsmiths University, and obtained a master's degree at the University of Cambridge in the Sociology of Marginality and Exclusion. Alongside this, she ran social enterprises and NGOs working in London and Copenhagen.

Adela Paparisto

Job Titles:

Adela Paparisto works alongside the Director to support Frame Projects' overall management. This includes responsibility for recruitment and training, and continual improvement of our project management processes. She also led on developing and implementing a monitoring and evaluation process, which forms the basis of annual reporting on all Frame's panels. Adela gained a project management qualification in Canada, where she worked before joining Frame Projects.

Adrian Harvey

Job Titles:

Adrian Harvey leads on Frame Projects' work to manage the quality review panels on behalf of the London Boroughs of Havering and Barking and Dagenham. He also provides editorial support to Frame's panel managers, checking reports before they are signed off by the chair of each panel. An independent writer and policy consultant, Adrian has over 20 years' experience in local and central government. Recent work includes a report for Essex County Council on the value of good design in new residential development.

Kirsty McMullan manages the Quality Review Panels for Watford, Folkestone & Hythe, and Haringey, and is helping to establish a Community Review Panel for the LLDC. She is responsible for the delivery of expert and community advice to improve design quality, helping to create inclusive and sustainable developments with a strong sense of place. Kirsty brings her experience of design review and policy writing from Design Council, as well as her understanding of design and community engagement from architectural practice. Since 2018, Kirsty has been an undergraduate design tutor at Oxford Brookes University.

Kate Trant is a writer, editor and researcher with expertise in architecture and the built environment. She works with Frame Projects to support management of the Dacorum Community Review Panel and the Redbridge Design Review Panel - attending the panels' meetings and writing the reports that summarise their comments. Kate has written three books on aspects of design history. Her clients have included an international cross-section of leading-edge organisations, including the British Museum, Royal College of Art, Science Museum, Anthemis, Provable Markets and the London School of Publishing.

An urban designer and town planner, Edward Bailey leads on managing the HS2 Independent Design Panel. Working with colleagues at HS2 Ltd, he identifies projects across a range of issues, including urban integration, sustainability, civil engineering, station design and customer experience, that will benefit from the panel's contribution. Adela Paparisto works alongside the Director to support Frame Projects' overall management. Cindy Reriti

Cindy Reriti BA (Hons) DipArch Design Panel Manager ​ Cindy Reriti joined Frame Projects to take the lead in setting up the Dacorum Community Review Panel, working closely with the council to define the panel's work and to encourage members of the community to get involved. She has also taken the lead in setting up a new quality review panel for the London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and is panel manager for the London Legacy Development Corporation Quality Review Panel. ​ Cindy studied architecture at The Cass.

Deborah Denner

Job Titles:

Deborah Denner, an architect with extensive experience of quality review, heads the Frame Projects team - now 16 people. Since Deborah set up Frame Projects in 2015, it has been appointed to manage quality review panels on behalf of 17 planning authorities and development corporations in London and the south of England, as well as working nationally to provide design advice on infrastructure projects. She has also supported Frame Projects' work to pioneer community review - allowing people to share their local expertise with developers and planning authorities.

Dr Tom Bolton

Dr Tom Bolton BA (Hons) PhD Associate Tom Bolton leads Frame Projects' community review work, having set up the OPDC and Old Kent Road Community Review Groups. He manages place review groups for OPDC and Watford Borough Council, and works on other review panels including Camden and HS2. He also leads on Frame's research consultancy work, most recently developing design principles for the National Infrastructure Commission. Tom has published five books on history and culture, landscape and London, and his PhD research explored the development of neighbourhoods on the ‘wrong side of the tracks' around London's main railway stations. ​

Hanako Littlewood

Hanako Littlewood leads the panel coordination team at Frame Projects - responsible for the smooth operation of all our panels. She contributed to setting up the design and community review panels for the London Borough of Ealing and the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, and now leads the day-to-day coordination of the Ebbsfleet Design Forum and the Redbridge Design Review Panel. She also oversees the monitoring and evaluation of all Frame Projects' panels. Hanako previously worked as an events coordinator, organising international conferences about the future of work.

Joe Brennan

Joe Brennan works across a number of design review panels managed by Frame Projects, leading on coordination of the Haringey Quality Review Panel and the Dacorum Community Review Panel, as well as providing secretariat support to the HS2 Independent Design Panel. Before joining Frame Projects, Joe worked in the speciality drinks industry. His role involved coordinating distribution across the Southwest, and supporting management of the company's assets and portfolio.

Kate Trant

Lucy Block

Job Titles:
  • Director
Lucy Block manages the Harlow and Gilston / Epping Forest District Quality Review Panel, as well as the Ealing Design and Community Review Panels. Lucy applies her knowledge of architectural, urban, placemaking and public ream design to report on the outcomes of the panel meetings, presenting feedback and recommendations to local authorities and design teams. Lucy has worked in architectural practices in London for 10 years, and has taught at several universities including the University of Sheffield, City University London and the University of East London.

Patrycja Karaś

Patrycja Karaś is part of the panel coordination team at Frame Projects, helping to organise meetings for the LLDC Quality and Community Review Panels, the Barking and Dagenham Quality Review Panel, and the Isle of Dogs and South Poplar Community Development Panel. Patrycja previously worked in PR and marketing in the fashion industry.

Reema Kaur

Job Titles:
  • Senior Panel Coordinator
Reema Kaur coordinates meetings for the OPDC Place Review and Community Review Groups; the Watford Place Shaping Panel; the Folkestone and Hythe Place Panel; and the Havering Quality Review Panel. She is also responsible for updating the Terms of Reference documents for Frame's panels, and supporting the process for annual reporting. Before joining Frame Projects, Reema worked as an account executive for a marketing company, having studied Public Relations, Advertising and Media at Middlesex University.

Roxanne Salburg

Roxanne Salburg provides coordination support for three panels managed by Frame Projects: the Ealing Community Review Panel, the Ealing Design Review Panel; and the Harlow and Gilston / Epping Forest District Quality Review Panel. Roxanne previously worked as a keyworker for a semi-independent service that provides support for young people transitioning into independence.

Sarah Carmona

An architect and urban designer, Sarah Carmona is part of the Frame Projects team managing the Haringey Quality Review Panel. She attends reviews of projects from across the borough and writes the reports that capture the panel's comments and recommendations.

Sharon Williams

  • Finances While Working Closely With the Director
Sharon Williams manages Frame Projects' finances while working closely with the director and consultancy's accountants. She organises the company's day to day accounting procedures and contributes to the smooth and efficient running of the office. Sharon has extensive accounting experience, including working with the design magazine Disegno, and a model management agency.
