Chloe Carmichael

Chloe is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has worked as a forensic accountant for nearly 15 years in private practice, for regulatory bodies and in-house for a bank. Chloe currently works as a consultant advising law firms, investigation practitioners and security & intelligence consultants on a wide range of forensic accountancy issues relating to criminal and regulatory investigations, company disputes, private claims brought by individuals and matrimonial disputes. Recent cases have involved analysing misappropriation of funds, interrogating large amounts of markets data to identify patterns of unusual activity, calculating loss of profits to assist in quantum claims and reviewing the financial statements and internal control systems of companies. In 2011, Chloe was a prosecution witness for the Financial Services Authority in relation to a successful prosecution of a multi-million pound boiler room fraud. The case was heard at Southwark Crown Court. Chloe prides herself on finding straightforward, honest and fair solutions to even the most complicated financial disputes. Chloe is an invaluable member of the team in assisting Global Litigation Management clients.

Darren Jones

Darren enjoyed a successful police career working within Essex, Metropolitan, and Kent police services. He was a detective serving on high profile specialist units, including murder, rape, robbery and fraud. He is a very experienced investigator, having been involved with significant investigations securing both criminal and civil prosecutions. One case of note was a multi-million pound identity theft and money laundering investigation involving a leading insurance provider. Eight defendants were convicted and sentenced totalling in excess of 30 years imprisonment. In recent years he has been successfully involved in the preparation and presentation of criminal and civil cases. Darren has excellent relationships with Criminal and Civil Solicitors & Barristers. Emma Phillips

Emma is an experienced practitioner with over 10 years litigation experience. Called to the Bar in 2001, Emma specialises in criminal defence and her practice incorporates all aspects of serious crime including drug trafficking, fraud, firearms, homicide, money laundering, proceeds of crime offences, sexual offences and offences of serious violence. She is a skilful advocate who has been involved in a number of high profile cases involving serious organised crime and money laundering, multi-handed gang murders and high value and complex frauds. She is regularly instructed both as led junior and a junior alone. Emma has a reputation for managing complex and difficult cases with ease while at the same time retaining an approachable and dedicated stance with clients. She is an invaluable member of the team who provides high quality representation and Legal opinion to Global Litigation Management clients.

Julie Black

Julie worked in the City for 11 years as a legal secretary dealing in large litigation cases. Julie collated files for Court hearings, setting up meetings and supporting the lawyers that she worked with. She has also spent a number of years working for a firm of estate agents dealing with all aspects of marketing, administration work and client liaison. Julie assists the legal team at Global Litigation collating and preparation of client documents along with the completion of all administration tasks. She has a wealth of experience which makes her an invaluable member of the Global Litigation Management team.
