In April 2020, Agencia ALPHA, the Brazilian Workers Center and Rian Immigrant Center joined forces to create the Massachusetts Immigrant Collaborative as a response to the COVID19 pandemic and support our immigrant communities already experiencing social and economic inequalities. Through generous financial support from both local/state government and private foundations, the Collaborative (composed of 15 partner organizations) has raised over 7 million dollars and server over 60,000 individuals with culturally competent food and cash assistance... Agencia ALPHA was founded in January of 2002 by two immigrant women from Guatemala. We are a faith-based non-profit organization located in Boston, Massachusetts.Today, our volunteer-based organization counts with the support, diversity and personal experience of more than 25 active volunteers from various parts of the world including Guatemala, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Perú,..
