Ashleigh Graley

Dr. Graley is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018. She also completed her undergraduate education at West Virginia University, earning her Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science. While in dental school, Dr. Graley was granted the Team Leader Recognition Award, was an active member of the American Student Dental Association and Delta Sigma Delta. During this time, she focused on bringing dental care to underserved populations in southern West Virginia. Most recently, Dr. Graley practiced as a general dentist at WellOne Community Health Center in Foster, RI. In this role, she provided dental care to underserved populations and performed dental screenings in schools and nursing homes. Dr. Graley moved to Providence, RI, after dental school, where she met her husband. In March of last year, they welcomed their first child, Scarlett. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, beach days, and cozying up with a good book.

Brendan C. Gouin

Dr. Brendan Gouin graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Rhode Island in 2005. Dr. Brendan then received his D.M.D. from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2009. While at Tufts, Dr. Brendan was a teaching assistant in Oral Maxillofacial Radiology. He participated in dental internships at the Rhode Island Department of Corrections and the Norwood Dental Clinic for Special Needs. Dr. Brendan has been teaching as an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxilliofacial Radiology at Tufts University since the Spring of 2010. Dr. Brendan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the South County Dental Society. Dr. Brendan has been recognized many times as a "Top Doctor" by Rhode Island Monthly Magazine, Awarded the "Edge" Award by Incisal Edge Magazine and honored by The United Chambers of Southern Rhode Island as a young professional who is shaping the region and making a difference in the community. In his free time Dr. Brendan enjoys spending time with his wife, son, and their three dogs. Dr. Brendan also enjoys snowboarding, surfing, tennis, and ice hockey.

Bruce Gouin

Dr. Gouin established Arrowhead Dental Associates in 1978 after graduating from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island in the field of Microbiology and Chemistry. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the local South County Dental Society. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Gouin is committed to improving his skill and level of patient care through continued education and was awarded the Academy's fellow status in July of 1998. Dr. Gouin is also a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists. Arrowhead Dental received the 2016 Humanitarian Award In addition to Dr. Gouin's being voted a Top Dentist in RI Monthly Magazine. He has been recognized for his outstanding dentistry and commitment to furthering Arrowhead Dental into a charitable and growing office. Dr. Gouin is married to Dr. Christine Benoit and has lived here in Charlestown since 1978. They have two children, Annick and Dr. Brendan Gouin who joined the practice in 2009. Dr. Gouin enjoys mountaineering, hiking, and is a master gardener. His mountaineering has taken him to the highest point in all fifty states and three of the world's seven summits.

Dr. Christine Benoit

Dr. Christine Benoit dedicates her professional career for the oral health of patients throughout their lifetime. Dr. Benoit serves on four oral health non-profit foundation boards and is retired from clinical practice. Dr. Benoit serves on the International College of Dentists Projects Committee, and additional international programs. She is a Trustee of the International College of Dentists USA Section Foundation. In Rhode Island, Dr. Benoit serves on the Board of Directors for Dental Lifeline Network - RI, a philanthropic program to assist medically compromised, elderly and needy patients to receive free dental care. Dr. Benoit is also on the Rhode Island Dental Foundation Board of Directors, to support oral health education or access to care programs in our state. In 2021, Dr. Benoit was awarded Master Fellowship from the International College of Dentists (ICD), a most prestigious honor. In 2018, Dr. Benoit received the ICD Meritorious Award in recognition of leadership with the College's Educational Programs, and 2015 the ICD USA Section District One Distinguished Service Award. Dr. Benoit served the Rhode Island Dental Association as President, two decades ago. Additionally, she was on the Rhode Island Board of Examiners in Dentistry (Chair) and in 2021 received emeritus status from the Commission on Dental Competency Assessment. Dr. Benoit is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and the University of Rhode Island. For enjoyment, Dr. Benoit spends time with her family. Her hobbies and interests include tennis, hiking, gardening, theater, and German Shepherd Dogs.

Dr. Craig Cedermark

Dr. Cedermark completed his Endodontics residency at Albert Einstein Medical center in Philadelphia, PA. In this time, he utilized cutting edge technology in root canal therapy and endodontic microsurgery. Throughout his time in PA, he participated in outreach activities providing free root canal treatment in underserved areas in Philadelphia. He also assisted teaching courses in Microsuturing and Piezosurgery and presented research on laser activated disinfection and local anesthesia to the American Association of Endodontics. Dr. Craig Cedermark is a graduate of Columbia University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree. After completing dental school, he served as Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps for four years. During this time, he provided general dental services to marines and sailors and served as Division Officer of his dental clinic. Prior to attending dental school, Dr. Cedermark completed his undergraduate studies at The College of New Jersey, where he earned his B.S. in Engineering. Dr. Cedermark then had a five year career as a development engineer, designing and testing instruments used in total hip replacement surgery that are now used in hundreds of operating rooms today. In their free time, Dr. Cedermark, his wife, and two boys enjoy sailing, fishing, skiing, little league sports, and traveling together.

Dr. Emery Nicholas

Dr. Emery Nicholas is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D., graduating in the top ten percent of her class, which led her to be inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. After finishing dental school, Dr. Nicholas continued her studies by attending medical school at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, where she was elected chief resident in her final year. Following medical school, she completed her general surgery certificate at New York Presbyterian Hospital, which she has labeled her most valuable and significant time in her growth as a provider. Prior to attending dental and medical school, Dr. Nicholas graduated from Amherst College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. In her time at Amherst, Dr. Nicholas participated on the women's lacrosse team and earned NCAA All-American honors twice, and All-New England honors three times in her four-year participation with the team. From college, she went on to teach high school biology and chemistry while also coaching volleyball, squash, and lacrosse at an all-girls private school in Connecticut. With nearly a decade of experience in oral & maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Nicholas is a highly trained surgeon that can perform procedures such as dental implants, wisdom tooth removal, bone grafts, treating facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, sedation, and more. In her free time, Dr. Nicholas enjoys yoga, exercising, reading, and spending time with her family.

Stefane Matos

Dr. Matos is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where she earned her D.M.D. in 2020. Prior to dental school, Dr. Matos received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. Dr. Matos is an esteemed member of dental professional organizations including the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Rhode Island Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Matos takes tremendous pride in delivering exceptional patient care and recognizing the crucial link between oral health and overall well-being. She firmly believes in the importance of educating patients about preventive dental care and strives to help them maintain healthy and beautiful smiles. Driven by her commitment to excellence, Dr. Matos actively seeks out the latest advancements in dental treatment and technology through continuing education and hands-on trainings. Dr, Matos' dedication ensures that her patients receive the best care, using state-of-the-art treatment methods. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Matos loves spending time with her family, cherishing every opportunity to create lasting memories with her daughter and husband. They spend their free time exploring the outdoors and going on walks in wooded trails or beaches. In addition to her passion for dentistry, Dr. Matos is committed to her community, and strives to make a positive impact by expanding her expertise beyond the office walls.
