BARISTA ALLEY

Barista Alley is so much more than just a cafe; it is a place that brings the community together. Whether it be to study, work, socialize, have a date night, or just relax, Barista Alley offers an experience that you will want to revisit over and over... At the age of 21, Andrew Carter's dream of opening his own coffee shop started to quickly become a reality. He recognized that Greer had so much potential for growth and wanted to personally contribute to it. Finally, after a year of anticipation, Barista Alley opened its doors on March 31, 2017. It was just a few years later that Andrew happened to find out the old B.A. Bennett building would be available, so he took the opportunity to expand. In August of 2021, Barista Alley re-opened at it's current location on 101 Trade Street complete with a full kitchen, lots of seating, and even an old bank safe. During the move from one location to the other, Andrew was in the process of purchasing a roaster so he could start roasting his own..
