Bedi Investments limited was incorporated in 1972 and began its journey as a tailor-made suit's manufacturer. In the early days of the business Kenya enjoyed a robust textile sector with over 200 garmenting and textile companies. Intense competition from cheap Asian imports and dumping destroyed the sector, leaving only three fully integrated textile mills today. Today, Bedi Investments Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of textiles and garments in Sub-Saharan Africa, we control a fully integrated poly viscose/cotton value chain which caters to both regional, local and international markets. We employ more than 2000 workers in our factories and approximately 16000 farmers in the cotton fields.
